So I have most of these- except Series 3 and 4. Are they worth getting or should I hold back for the Benny sale?

So I have most of these- except Series 3 and 4. Are they worth getting or should I hold back for the Benny sale? Personally I actually preferred series 3 & 4 over 2 (haven't heard the first series as of yet). I found them more clever and energetic, with most of the stories being enjoyably silly in the way Iris stories tend to be. I would recommend them, but if you're considering your budget on Benny vs Iris, go for your preference. Myself, I have most of these, save for series 1 and the Reloaded set. I may get the latter, since I have no interest in Vienna and I'm not really into Bernice Summerfield. But it's not a huge discount, so I may wait and do the usual 'if we get a repeat day I'll go for it' rule I use on the Christmas sales.

I loved the few I've heard already so have got the set.
Thankfully tomorrow will be a cheap day, but I'm expecting he Benny sale to be enormous.

It will be interesting to see whether or not Big Finish will do a repeat sale day on an entire week's worth of these Worlds of Big Finish products? It will require A LOT (more than 50 different items) of manual repeat discounting!

Interesting to hear Iris pioneered the box set format at Big Finish.

Exactly, the permanent markdown of Benny books and her single CD releases was the end result of the original The Worlds of Big Finish sale. Which opens up the possibility that more range titles from this latest sale could be looked at to be permanently reduced?

It hasn't been stated to end, but there's been no news about new releases after last year's Wildthyme Reloaded, and other less high-profile spin-offs have been heavily delayed (Graceless IV and poor Charlotte Pollard for example), not to mention the fairly busy schedule and all the ranges BF is currently juggling. The "Have you heard" for Iris didn't even mention future plans, so it's clearly not of BF's radar at the moment. In Nick Briggs terms, it's either a We'll See or a Just Imagine.

It looks like the Vienna range for the time being is to be rested as well. It wasn't until very recently that 2 rating votes were finally cast on the **** ****** for her Series 3 stories! I'm also guilty of not listening to Salvatori's latest set (even when in possession of it). There seems to be a fair amount of "I'm not remotely interested" comments pertaining to Vienna on this forum from Big Finish fans alike.

So I see you can get series 2 as individual releases or a box set. The individual releases are cheaper, if you buy the download, then getting the 4 releases as a box set. Any advantage to getting the box set?

I can understand if Big Finish choose to rest the range. It doesn't come up very often on the forum, either here or the old one, unless there is a sale like the one expected for tomorrow or there's a new release.

Any advantage to getting the box set? I bought my Iris Wildthyme: Series 2 box set from WhoNA. I doubt that there are any additionally included digital extras with that older set. I always prefer individual story downloads over 1 large box set file.

I ended up getting series 3 and 4, plus the Companion Chronicle The Elixir of Doom.
I already have the other Compaion Chronicle, The Wormery, and the Excelis releases. I'll get series 1 and 2 another time.

I don't think it is really fair to talk about it being 2 years since Vienna 3 was announced seeing as it was announced at the same time as 2. Also, I want some more.
