Hey if Kathy Beale can cheat death so can you know. Dallas (1980) season 3 finale cliffhanger:One of the most famous television viewer speculation debates, that I remember, was whether or not J.R. Ewing would survive being shot twice in the abdomen or be killed off. " Who shot J.R.?" was the CBS network's popular and successful catchphrase. Larry Hagman's character J.R. was *almost* killed off due to his real life steep increase contract renewal demands! I never watched Dallas myself, but I did watch Hagman in I Dream of Jeannie. Simon, you seem to be rather savvy with the Eastenders, are you a viewer yourself? Yeah I'm a huge Eastenders fan & i have watched the soap from day one. Has Glenn cheated death? Or has he met his fate? It's a tough one to call.

For the most part, I don't want to know "major" correlating TWD comic book spoilers. However, today a co-worker mentioned a modest revelation that Rick loses his hand in the comic book. As we can see in S06E03, Rick is nurturing an injured left hand. I hope he doesn't lose his hand in the TV series - how awful that dose of reality would be! Yeah, Rick did lose his hand in the comic book, (he has a metal claw thing now) so I reckon the Producers of the TV show are just teasing us, as people with knowledge of the comic book series will be expecting that to happen to Rick in Season 6 now after last weeks episode. I do think the Glenn thing is a cheat, but they could go through with the hand thing for Rick.

Yeah, the Bas@#*ds!
A good episode on it's own; filling in the pacifist Morgan back-story, but completely de-railing the ongoing plot and people's expectations! It's probably a good way of building up the tension for next week's episode now though.

Good episode with another excellent performance by Andrew Lincoln as Rick, I'm hoping Glenns fate isn't dangled in the air too long we need a resolution one way or the other.

Last night's episode was a good episode, but they are dragging the Glenn thing out a bit much. Good to see that the residents of Alexandria have finally woken up to the reality that surrounds them though, it isn't a cosy little housing estate anymore... Kill or be killed. I'm sure Glenn will be back... but hopefully it's as a Zombie!

More filler despite Norman Rebus excellent performance as Darryl, i feel were stringing this particular arc with Glenn out a little to much now & needs resolving asap.

He's alive, Glenn is alive. Not surprised though. I still think Glenn will get whacked at some stage in Season 6... well, I hope so anyway!

Well I'm sick of Morgans preaching & i hope he gets it soon, this man needs to wake up & smell the coffee, the two sons of the female character Rick having happy time with are both imbeciles & need taking out, Deanna characters been completely wasted in this series & i think series 6 is the weakest season to date.
The post credits teaser saved the episode for me, here's hoping the second half of the series ups it's game.

Until the post credits scene I was very disappointed with this episode and the first half of Season 6 has turned out to be fairly dull, with more misses than hits. But I am definitely looking forward to the second half of the season now...

Completely agree Stevo, i haven't felt any emotion or empathy for the characters this season, i hope the second half improves.

I'll be as vague as possible: S06E09: No Way Out- Rick and crew attempt to take back Alexandria
- Contains a shocking surreal minute's skirmish
- The Wolves are categorically vanquished
- A violent episode with triumphs and losses

The Walking Dead came back with a bang! I thought it was a brilliant episode and it kept me on the edge of my armchair all the way through. Fast paced and very tense... and some gruesome deaths. Loved it!
Roll on next week... episode 10 has a lot to live up to.

Naturally as a fan of the television series, I'm eagerly looking forward to viewing this Sunday's/Monday's season 6 finale of The Walking Dead. Expected dealings within this 90 minute episode: - Negan's arrival
- Carol's destiny
- Daryl's fate
There will most certainly be a main character death within this episode... Two years ago, show creator Robert Kirkman publicly announced while joking that Negan would bat Glenn to death (just like he did in the comic book). I personally think that will end up being misleading information when it comes to the television show's version of events. However, it does look like Maggie is beginning some kind of new ideology transformation and Glenn does seem to be more than ever an expendable loss. When Negan makes his *grand entrance* he's going to bat someone isn't he? Who will it be?The show's producers will presumably be going for maximum shock value. So, I'll guess that Daryl or Carol will be Lucille's (the bat) first victim of Rick's main group.

Oh man--I hope not Daryl OR Carol...my two favorites! Interesting that they are both TV creations (Daryl not in the comics at all, and Carol VERY different from the comic book version who died a long time ago!)
No, I don't believe it will be one of them. Actually, I really wish none of the original five (Rick, Carol, Daryl, Glenn and Carl) die, but if one has to go, I agree--Glenn is the most expendable.
