The dummy download link has appeared in accounts, so I'm assuming this will be out early in the cycle next month.

As with all the Torchwood releases so far, I really enjoyed this story. I don't have a huge issue with the ending, but cliffhangers always leave me desperate for part two, and slightly annoyed when I know I won't get it for some time... Also, did anyone else expect Kai Owen to make his brief cameo? I'd suspected he might turn up from some of the dialogue in the trailer.

Feel I should point out, as a horror story, that actually is the end. It's not Part 1 of 2. So I wouldn't hold your breath for an explicit resolution...

Well that was a nice little self-contained story. Quite lovely, really.

Imagine a story with The Voice and The Weeping Angels together. "Don't look!" "Wait, look. Don't blink!" "No, don't look!!"
Anyway, a scary, little story. Not my favorite of the range, but I really enjoyed if.

I'm enjoying that these "current" stories, the post-Miracle Day ones, don't feel the need to be beholden to the Committee arc. It's nice to get standalone tales, just as one might get in an actual run of the show.

Oh, don't worry, I know there isn't going to be a second part. It's waiting to see whether there are any stories based after this one, or whether this will be the last story chronologically released, that makes me eager to see whether anything happens next or not.

This made a wonderful early (and rather foggy) morning listen. Was very hard to stop listening even when interrupted - a really engaging story, and a satisfactory finale to another excellent series of Torchwood.
Not sure how safe I think it is to leave it to listeners to imagine how the story ends, though (in fact, the persons responsible for this fine production would probably rather they had gone further with it if they only heard some of the endings I've already come up with in my head) but Made You Look does skillfully manage to do what it does yet avoid the feeling that anything's missing (aside from the next Torchwood announcement, which can't get here soon enough now).
Mixed feelings about the Conspiracy arc - true, it's very nice that some of the stories aren't fettered to the premise, but on the other hand it was sort of the opening premise for the series and it's been built upon along the way, so I do hope we get to find out where that was going and what it's all about before too long.

I like how despite trying to find out what the Voice is, Gwen doesn't end up learning anything beyond her speculations. It means that despite how she deals with it, it's still got some menace behind it. The concept behind the Voice is a spooky one (it kind of takes me back to The Impossible Planet when Gabriel Woolf possesses Toby in his room).
The extras were rather uninteresting, just a series of anecdotes from two of the guest stars.
I'm sad now because we won't get new Torchwood audios until November. I'd gotten used to a new one each month, but at least series 2 started getting released when series 1 concluded. At least there's the twelve stories we do have to relisten to and the Titan comic when that does come out (and whether it sticks to the release schedule, unlikely given Titan's tendency for release delays). My favorite story so far is still More Than This, another Gwen story written by Guy Adams.

Yeah they'd become a nice little monthly dose of New Who, to tide us over while waiting for the larger box sets to drop. We've now had thirteen months of contiguous New Who releases. If you count the Eighth Doctor stuff (which I do, as at the very least River's in them these days), we'll have another three contiguous months before becoming more sporadic. They've hinted at a Series 3 of Torchwood releases, along with a Tenth Anniversary Torchwood special (that is separate from Outbreak), as well as that Jack & Jackie Tyler thing that has yet to be announced, so maybe those will help fill in some of those gaps.

They do need to release the non-New Series stuff. November is a particularly full month, with four box sets scheduled for release. I don't envy the team at the warehouse who send off the CDs, they do a remarkable job considering the big workload. They are the true unsung heroes of Big Finish.
