They're ingenious little stories. The Magic Bullet audio dramas tend to have better production values than their BBV predecessors, but both are rather awe-inspiring in their breadth of scope and sense of characterisation. They even got Gabriel Woolfe back to portray Sutekh the Destroyer amongst the power plays aboard the Ship of a Billion Years.

I've been bouncing back and forth on these... 8th Doc is my Doc, and although I know that the audios aren't directly connected... there is still that connection, thus they interest me... trying to see if I want to take that plunge... even with BF I find it hard to drop $20+ for a hour of audio.

Just listened to the Benny set with him in and I could listen to his voice all day long.

Just listened to the Benny set with him in and I could listen to his voice all day long. I'd grab the first two stories Coming to Dust and The Ship of a Billion Years to see whether or not the Faction Paradox range appeals. There's a lot there to love and I'd be very surprised if something didn't catch your eye with the Osirian Court and what's going on Earth. I'd even recommend checking to see whether they still have any copies of Kaldor City's first audio release Occam's Razor if their production design appeals for the closest we're likely to get to a Doctor Who/ Blake's 7 crossover .I've been bouncing back and forth on these... 8th Doc is my Doc, and although I know that the audios aren't directly connected... there is still that connection, thus they interest me... trying to see if I want to take that plunge... even with BF I find it hard to drop $20+ for a hour of audio. I'd recommend them purely for what I'd personally consider one of the most authoritative peeks at how exactly a temporally active war is waged.

Well all of the CDS arrived separately at once Just missing the first 2 but will get a flavour of them and two are SIGNED by Gabriel Woolf 😍 3-Body Politic 4-Words from Nine Divinites 5-Ozymandias 6-The Judgement of Sutekh
I hope I enjoyI think you'll be alright from what you have there. *thumbs up* Body Politic has a... well, not a recap, per se. It recontextualises what happened in the Osirian Court over the past two releases in the context of Gallifreyan politics. You get the gist of what it was about from their perspective, which should tell you all the pertinent points for everything going forward.

If you don't mind going digital instead of physical, they're on Audible. (Or they were when I last checked.)

If you don't mind going digital instead of physical, they're on Audible. (Or they were when I last checked.) Can confirm. At reasonable prices, too, going by a passing gander. Looks like the very first Faction Paradox comes in a pack with definitely not a Seventh Doctor and Ace story by Mark Gatiss and definitely not a post-series story for Nick Briggs's AudioVisuals Doctor and the Cybermen.

Looks like the very first Faction Paradox comes in a pack with definitely not a Seventh Doctor and Ace story by Mark Gatiss and definitely not a post-series story for Nick Briggs's AudioVisuals Doctor and the Cybermen. I have three of the original BBV audios now on CD and only missing Coming to Dust on the Magic bullet run. Got to say I really enjoyed them and new nothing about them till I read this post BF should get the rights to them they are an interesting alternate take on the Who Universe. I will not worry as they are also the original BBV run available on the I Tunes Store too so that’s good to know Sounds as though you have nearly all of the Justine/Lolita stories. If you liked these, have a look at Obverse Books's catalogue. They've a particular eye to exploring a lot of the events within the War from unusual angles like the Faction Paradox audios. One of my favourites from The Book of the Enemy is about how the Enemy is definitely not Dracula, but we're going to tell a story about him anyway. Something that ties into into the original Stoker novel, The Dalek Invasion of Earth and Inferno. It sounds rather "out there" (and, well... it is), but the ideas are extremely fun. For a long time, there was nothing that tackled a four-dimensional war in quite the same way as the Faction Paradox series (some more recent stories could stand as strong contenders to the same style).
