Hello
My friend is in need of reinstalling Dalek Voice Pro onto his new computer, but the site that he originally downloaded it on has stopped working.
He still has the authentication code that he paid for. All he needs is the software for it.
If anyone still has it, that would be a great help for him.
Cheers,
Cameron K.

Googling reveals 2 possible legit sources. He's already checked. They don't work.

He knows you can make Dalek voices in Audacity, but he doesn't want to. He knows Dalek Voice Pro is the best software for the job.

This would be trivia then but back in the day we built our own ring modulator (and then couldn't figure out what it was good for). I saw a documentary where it looked like Nick was using one that might have been made as part of a line of effects boxes for guitars.
Anyone know how Cyberman voices were/are made? I still can't place that effect.
Update: Wikipedia actually seems to know this, and says that originally Cybermen voices were made with a vocoder (does this make the Cylons from Battlestar Galactica and the Cybermen cousins?) :-) and an electrolarnyx - no wonder I've never been able to guess. Also says Nick is making them nowdays with a ring modulator, so Daleks and Cybermen are now also cousins, lol, and Nick's a genius - he's probably going to put young Ben through college with the same thing we couldn't find a use for. Bravo!
