His Hartnell is pretty decent. He'll probably get better as he goes along - starting in the CCs is a good idea.

Pretty close for me between The Rocket Men and Return of the Rocket Men, but the former will always have a special place in my heart as the first Companion Chronicles story I ever listened to. |

It's incredibly difficult for me as well. I love William Russell's narration and usually prefer his CC's to Purves' (contentious, I know). In this case, I just felt like the fatalism of Steven's decision made this a more emotionally impactful story than The Rocket Men, although i'm also a huge Ian/Barbara fan. |
