From BF on FB
2 Actors in each
Maureen and a guest actor in the 1st one
Peter and Nick Briggs in the 2nd one
(For those 2 the Companion Actor dose the narration)
Anneke and Elliot share the narration in their 2 stories.
Regards
mark687
I'm not convinced the FB reply says that. I'd say it just says Anneke and Rob are in both. Not that they're both narrating both. I can't, to be honest, personally see why someone would go on FB to ask that. Why not wait and find out as you listen. Because I wanted to know
Anyway the exact reply
Two actors in each story: Maureen covers Fields of Terror with Robert Hands, Peter covers Across the City with Nicholas Briggs, and Anneke and Elliot cover the final two stories.

I hadn't realised that was you asking, and not just reporting the answer here. For me, that'd fall into the category 'looking forward to finding out when I hear it', I think anticipation is very underrated these days.

Oh wow, that's quite something. If it is what it sounds like - and it must be - surely that'll be a news story or at least promoted as a selling point closer to release? It's a pretty big deal!

Well yeah. I was kind of on the fence about whether to get into the cc boxsets, but now I really want to see (well, hear) how this plays out

The framing scenes are 2 Timelords looking at the 1st Doctors timeline during the Time War and it implies the Daleks are trying to interfere with it Regards mark687

Well it makes the description of 11.4 make a lot of sense, doesn't it?

Does it? I'm afraid the description of 11.4 went right over my head.
edit: nope, you're right, totally makes sense now.

I just wish that they'd do some old school CC's honestly. I don't see the need for a gimmick in such an excellent range, but we'll see how it plays out.

Hmmm... I wonder if The Daleks tampering in The First Doctor's timeline results in some little or big way the First Doctor timeline as we know it?
It'd be particularly chilling and unsettling if the Companion's narration is actually the Time Lord's accessing the companion's experiences and relaying them in someway with a Time War affected delay.
I wonder if we'll see the First Doctor will encounter these Time Lords through Companion Chronicles lens.

REALLY looking forward to this one! Don't think I've ever been disappointed by a First Doctor-era release. They're always so atmospheric and evocative of a time when the series was at its most mysterious and unrestricted. Hope it's an early in the month release :-)

Well, the preview in this week's podcast sounds very good. I may have to get this. What was the preview? Was it the trailer with the two time lords or was it part of the free episode? Speaking of, the free episode is great. Get to hear Chapman doing his First Doctor a bit.
