Long term, that would be my wish too. There is no need for a distinction between old and new monsters, they are just Doctor Who monsters now. There is no reason - well, once the marketing hype for the box sets dies down - that some of those monsters can't make an appearance in the Doctor Who main range. Never understood the Sontaran 'New Monster' thing either, but I haven't got the Classic Doctors, New Monsters box set yet, so maybe it's explained in the relevant story in that. Not really. They're just "new series" Sontarans. Whatever that means. Well, they did keep shouting "Sontar-ha!" Never got that in the old days. Makes them a completely new......

I said Headless Monks, Vashta Nerada and Carrionites when I guessed a while back (as we do know there are only three monsters - with one facing two Doctors).
I could see any of those three still appearing, but would agree that the Krillitanes are an option as well.

I don't think the Headless Monks are really that interesting, without the Church of the Silence. I guess Bf can probably find something to do with them though.

The Doctor is familiar with them when he meets them in School Reunion.

Perhaps we can discover how they became Headless....the new series have given us a lot of "silent" monsters.

To be perfectly honest, I don't care which new series monsters are featured because I trust the brain trust at BF with making those TBD monsters work with the Doctor chosen. I'm much more interested in which writers are onboard.

And then becomes The Face of Boe? Now, that would make sense!

Well it wouldnt have to be the Slitheen per se. It could be any family from the Raxacalablahblah race. They did it pretty well in the Ninth Doctor Comics series Oh & no singing aliens. I'm not sure what's worse..... ....singing aliens or farting aliens

I'm not sure what's worse..... ....singing aliens or farting aliens They're both pretty fun. Eh, I dunno. There's a time and place (I do love my South Park, even including the opening season w/ Cartman getting, erm, probed) That kind of stuff worked for me in Curse of the Fatal Death, but that's because it was a spoof. To the extent there's humor in Who, I'd rather have it be a little more subtle than haha butts!
