Well, I'm in the midst, as some of you here know, of polling everyone there on what they want to do regarding a forum, whether here or indeed elsewhere, with the emphasis really on getting people off Facebook because it isn't at all conducive to faciliting the sort of group community we had and are used to. I've timed it like a BF weekend sale to allow for timezones and so on, so about noon on Monday everyone the polls close and if you haven't voted then then that will be taken as abstaining. Hopefully it will galvanise people. Well now the vote is in, I'm going to shift over here. |

Has anyone heard from Mark687(?). I would have thought he was on Facebook, but don't recall seeing him since the forum closed. I am missing Mark and his regular updates, it was those that usually informed me of what was going on, so I hope he pops up here soon. |

Unfortunately I have never seen Mark or Pavlat sign in. I hope they do check in and find us at any rate. Cheers Tony |

Mark687 was on the Zero Room FB page, though I don't recall if he's posted there much. I was keeping notes when people introduced themselves, so I could keep track of which real name was which forum name.  For those who told, not everyone did. |

Cubicle 7 owns the license to the Doctor Who role-playing game, and they host forums for all their other games, but they aren't (for some reason) allowed to host a DW-oriented forum. Therefore, they instead link to an external Proboards forum. If shown that example, Big Finish might be amenable to sharing our link, too. forums.cubicle7.co.uk/index.php |

They look to have a good setup, not so sure about some of their rules, but then were discussing our own rules at some length right now, but them being stopped from talking about Who just seems down right weird, I mean, how do you stop people from just up and discussing a subject like that? Sure you can exclude them from a forum, but as Cubicle 7 demonstrate setting up different forum for discussion is easy and cannot be controlled by contracts, weird.
