That's what we need a silurian/sea devil vs Doctor box set.

There's got to be some issue with the Hulke Estate and non TV stuff I mean that's the only reason I can think of why BF haven't used any of his creations for 7 years.

Regards mark687 Which is a real shame because the Sea Devils scared the living **** out of me as a kid ... and I'm still not really over them Cheers Tony

Sea Devils to finally get a audio adventure against a Doctor. Maybe with four, and Horatio Nelson a la the Doctor's rather mental commentary in "Gallery of Ghouls".

I can't think there'd be any issues with the Hulke Estate. There may - I don't actually know - have been an issue at one point when the BBC were reintroducing the Silurians., but that'd come from the Beeb, not the Hulke Estate.
The Silurians and The Sea Devils are easy ones to leave alone for a while and then suddenly realise how long it's been since using them - it does tend to be the same story every time...

I was summarising based on Nick Briggs Podcast comment a few months back that "BF can't currently use ALL the elements of the Paternoster Gang"

Oh that I had taken to mean ALL *at the same time*, not that there was an individual bit they couldn't use. I may be wrong though, that was just how I took it.

Regards mark687 In an interview with Jonathan Morris (http://docohobigfinish.blogspot.cl/2011/05/jonathan-morris-interview.html), he very obviously hints that no writer wants to use the Sea Devil in Big Finish because their hisses voices are so slow and distracting. It makes sense to me since the aquatic Silurians cousins and were recently used in Titan Comics the Twelfth Doctor.

Short Trips based on the new series.
River Song and Iris Wildthyme.
The Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones for the second Box Set, with a "first planet history" that she deserves (A genuine planet, New Earth does not count because he was whimpering by Rose)
A Box Set focused on the lives of Amy and Rory after "The Angels Take Manhattan". I have a theory that the couple, like Charley Pollard with the Sixth Doctor, they found an earlier Doctor and they traveling with him.
A crossover between Jago & Litefoot and Jenny & Vastra.
A Cybermen story for the Third Doctor.
Some stories focusing on other countries outside Europe, like South America.
Unlike the majority here, I doubt we have the Fourth Doctor and Adric stories, the wounds have not healed. It's no secret that Matthew Waterhouse considers his time in Season 18 as a traumatic experience with the explosive and drunk Tom Baker. Nor is no secret that Tom Baker and Lalla Ward, dislikes with all his soul everything related to the JNT era.

Freema Ageyman did a good job but she was let down by a character that Russell T Davies made unlikeable through the unrequited love storyline. Yeah, that would be interesting. But how would they travel with an earlier Doctor without him knowing who they are before he is supposed to?
That would be brilliant. Shame the BBC won't let them use those characters. Surprised this hasn't happened yet. Why did it never happen on TV? The Cybermen are literally the perfect monsters for the third Doctor. If Matthew Waterhouse is happy to work with Peter Davison after Peter Davison's harsh words in DWM, I don't see why he wouldn't work with Tom Baker.

I'm sorry, but that just pushes it over the edge for me. It was all right with Charley, I think, because it was a completely original idea at the time, but nowadays just brining back old companions for adventures after the left the Doctor with the Doctor again is considered bland. I just think it'd feel incredibly forced. Also, in terms of the Cyberman story for 3, there's always the Blue Tooth. And, if I'm right, Barry Letts and Terrance Dicks, weren't exactly big fans of the Cybermen.

I agree that it doesn't really work with Amy and Rory, but that's more because the Doctor clearly doesn't know them when he meets them in The Eleventh Hour. However, I'm not entirely convinced he'd never met Jack or Martha before. I mean, not as a companion, but a one-off story? Sure.

Every time they announce a Third Doctor boxset I expect a Briggs-penned Cyberstory.
Third time lucky?

I predict wailing and gnashing of teeth on the 28th of February when people realise that there will be no more WarDoc stories.

Further price increases on some of the boxsets to offset increased production costs from the falling pound and descreasing CD sales as the uncertainty from Brexit continues.

I predict that Jacqueline King will come back as Sylvia noble in a future 10th doctor adventures box set with Catherine Tate & David Tennant
It seems that big finish have actively been enticing her with other roles like in doom coalition etc

Jax would need no enticing back to be Sylvia.
