I also predict Niky Wardley will narrate an eighth dr short trip as Tamsin Drew Since she's in jago & litefoot series 12 And I'm guessing big finish wouldn't get her just to do an audio bit part but might say while you're here doing something else do this but for jago & litefoot
I'm only considering the cast lists of productions and seeing how Nick Briggs in podcasts mentions the logistics of getting actors is a pain

There some great guest roles in J&L, which are well worth a day's work for a good guest actor.

Following on from my logistics of getting actors together is troublesome And the factor that Ruth Bradley as Molly O'Sullivan was unavailable in 'Dark Eyes 4' due to other commitments I expected Nicola Walkers character of Liv Chenka to be killed off in Doom Coalition 3 for similar reasons because she seems to be in a lot of demand for TV projects Plus I thought this would give the Doctor impetus & motivation for going into the final box set facing The Eleven

Given that John Dorney & Jonny Morris have said that Sea Devils on audio are an unpopular writing choice because they speak so hissy & slowly Hopefully they (or someone like them) can creatively create a Sea Devils story (with a different doctor to that we've seen on TV )with the challenge of minimum dialogue for the Sea Devils
Either way I would imagine we can expect a 3rd doctor adventure with the cybermen

Having listened to Jago & Litefoot box set 12 & paricularly the extras I am more than willing to take back my comment re Jacqueline King re Big Finish courting her
She said she got her first taste of Jago & Litefoot after listening to the episode with her husband Keith Bartlett , after he'd got the CD from Big Finish ( according to Tardis wikia S06E01 The Skeleton Quay )
And she's been listening to a lot of Big Finish CDs in the car on the long drive to visit her mum
But I still think that Big Finish would be missing a trick by not having her in a future Donna & Tenth Doctor release ( assuming that she won't mind revisiting a previous character she's portrayed )

Daleks didn't really lend themselves to long talky pieces until Nick Briggs got hold of them, so I don't see why a creative writer couldn't make the Sea Devils work on audio. A Doctor Who main range Sea Devil story is long overdue... But I wouldn't object to a Sea Devil Short Trips story either.

I can take or leave Sylvia. She wasn't as good as Camille Coduri was as Jackie in my opinion.

Not so much a prediction as a thought. Since BF has recast the 3rd Doctor with Tim Treloar, let's see a Main Range trilogy featuring the 3rd Doctor and Jo Grant. Or maybe we could have a trilogy of stories featuring Doctors 3, 4 & 8 and have a four part mini-season with a single Doctor instead of the anthology release. I think BF has done a great job freshening up the Main Range in the past couple of years and this could be a way to shake it up a little more.

Oh no.... I wouldn't want to see that at all. Keep the recast Third Doctor range separate from the Doctor Who main range, which features proper Doctors. "Classic Doctors, New Adventures" is not 'New Doctor, Classic Adventures'!

I've never really seen why people seem so keen on other Doctors being in the 'main' range.

I've never really seen why people seem so keen on other Doctors being in the 'main' range. Variety. Breaking up patterns. Give the people who only subscribe to the Main Range a chance to hear other Doctors. It might be nice to have the 8th Doctor part of the Main Range again.

Well I would like if the 8th Doctor could have a trilogy on the Main Range again if we could have one of the earlier more adventurous more carefree Eight back for some stories.

It's easy enough to get variety. And if people only subscribe to the monthly range, I imagine that's because that's the only Doctors they're interested in. I think it'd just mean fewer stories.

I think it'd just mean fewer stories. Well... unless you know something we don't re the extra (13th) main range release, I'm sure there'd still be twelve months in a year, so fewer stories isn't likely! As Eight started in the main range, an 8th Doctor main range story here and there wouldn't be a problem if the run of 8th Doctor box sets had finished. For instance I'd really like to hear more Eight/Mary Shelley stories, which were very enjoyable and showed great potential... and then nothing! I'd also prefer to see Charley return to 'her' Doctor and see how that plays out, as opposed to her solo adventures. (Which I have no interest in.) There's room in the main range for McGann's Doctor, as that's where it all started back in 2001.

I will also admit to still viewing the Main Range as Big Finish's marquee line of Doctor Who titles. so I think all of the Doctors should be featured within it at some point. I would be fine to have a mixture of stand alone adventures, longer arcs and mini-seasons within it. Not as much room for one of the regular Doctors? Go ahead and spin-off a special box set during the course of a year.
