The Day Will Come When You Won't Be (S07E01) premiers this Sunday (NA markets) and on Monday (UK market). North American and grey market viewers give yourselves an extra day before revealing any major revelations on this forum when watching the latest episode on their Sunday premier dates (exercising spoilers with discretion). Negan's 11 immediate potential victims are: - Rick
- Michonne
- Carl
- Maggie
- Glenn
- Daryl
- Abraham
- Sasha
- Eugene
- Rosita
- Aaron
Who will it be to die within this opening episode? My first inclination is that it will be Abraham, even though Glenn would seem to be the more obvious choice. If Glenn is indeed the first victim, then I will predict that another character from the group of 11 currently on their knees will unfortunately join him. I won't be too surprised, if my guess selections will be proven to be completely inaccurate... Happy discussions for season 7 of The Walking Dead.

Well it's not Rick or Carl based on Negan's "cut the boy's other eye out and feed it to his father" comment whilst he was in front of his victim... so even though I have longed for Glenn to die on TWD, I reckon it was Abraham. Mainly because the victim looked up after the first whack with blood streaming down their face, Abraham would be tough enough to do that, most of the others would have just gone down after being bashed.
Maybe if Negan gets carried away he'll also do Glenn, because he's an annoying plank of wood... it would then also tie-in with the comics. (Please!)
Regardless, I am really looking forward to Monday evening...

No spoilers but The Walking Dead season 7 episode one, a episode of tense, horrific, gruesome, emotional terrifying drama.
Jeffery Dean Morgan as Negan is terrifying, possibly one of the most sadistic bad guys ever to appear on tv, this episode literally shook me up & made me feel uncomfortable & frightened watching event's unfold, i always said it's not the Walkers you need to fear in The Walking Dead it's still humanity.
I got to praise our Brit, actor Andrew Lincoln as Rick who gave his best ever performance to date, he convincingly shown Rick is literally now a broken man.

S7 E01 of The Walking Dead was the best episode of the show, ever. I love Negan in the comic (he's still around causing mayhem) but on the TV show Jeffrey Dean Morgan has made the character even more of a bad ass and a right evil bast@*d. A brilliant performance.

I reviewed the episode in greater detail on my Google+ page, Jeffery Dean Morgan & the whole cast gave outstanding performances, Ricks character needs a strong protagonist & he's met his match in Negan who is brutal, uncompromising & sadistic.

[Spoilers full steam ahead] The Day Will Come When You Won't Be (S07E01):
Really was a memorable episode of The Walking Dead! For some conjecture reason, I thought the story's consequences of the Season 6 finale would have continued with some time passing and then retrospectively revealed as to what had fatally occurred. Instead, the producers rightly decided to not let the viewer off the hook and make us grittily live through those deaths in "real time"! As for the 2 murders of Rick's group, it did systematically make sense as to who were chosen. Abraham (taking it for the team) was on borrowed time and used defiant body language to encourage Negan to kill him. With Glenn, his FULL story had already been explored giving credence to make him the (story expendable) fallout victim to clearly establish Negan's dominance. The actor that plays Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is marvelously captivating! In Negan's world, Rick's group got off lucky...

I heard police stations all over the world have downloaded that song & within a day 90% of criminals have openly confessed there crimes, sadly the other 10% were tone deaf but hey it's a start right.

Can we please get back to the Rick/Negan arc instead of these solo episodes featuring secondary characters.

Yeah, the Tara episode on Monday was fairly dull allright. Tara just isn't a strong enough - or interesting enough - character to fill [virtually] a whole episode by herself. I found it a boring episode.
Now we'll probably have the 'Is Heath dead?' thing drag on... Who cares? It's the main group I want to see, not bit part players, even if they are setting up later events.
For me, the storytelling of The Walking Dead does leave a lot to be desired. There are so many side-steps away from the main narrative, it gets annoying.

Probably trying to expand there universe for future spin off series but we definitely need to get back to the drama at Alexandria.

This is true--however I am also very much looking forward to Carol's continuing story, including King Ezekiel! Great character, great tiger. Let's hope Carol lets go of her self-reflection and gets her badass mojo back! She's at her best when she's all ninja!

Can we please get back to the Rick/Negan arc instead of these solo episodes featuring secondary characters. Without having read TWD comic books. There seems to be an air of understanding that Negan is going to be around for quite a long time (2-3 seasons?). If that's going to be the case, then I'm perfectly okay with side adventures without always including Rick and (especially) Negan. With overexposure, I worry that Negan's omnipotent rantings could quickly become old hat. The show's producers are sadomasochistic kinky, and they are not going to give us what we perceive to want! I've learned to like that unpredictability.

There are so many side-steps away from the main narrative, it gets annoying. I'm a little more comfortable with "side-step" adventures that do not focus on core characters. We hadn't seen Tara for 9 episodes, and the end result only made her a more developed character. I liked the story's message that Tara could keep a secret without direct benefit. Heath, so far has been even more of a nominal character than Tara, so I wouldn't mind seeing a strong episode directly involving him. Sorry to be so opposite thinking.

I've been dying to ask you... Did you enjoy season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead? I actually did! It was a big improvement over season 1. Still not on par with the main show, but improving! You? AMC's: The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, Preacher and Into the Badlands reliably keeps me entertained at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday nights throughout the year! Fear the Walking Dead isn't as good as its parent show, but it is incrementally improving, and I do enjoy following it. This year's FTWD 16-part web series Passage has been fun to watch during the advertisement breaks of The Walking Dead as well. After viewing the first 2 seasons of Fear the Walking Dead, I've come to the conclusion that the show's producers and writers haven't done too great of a job making Madison (the primary character) a captivating presence. Moreover, I'm not overly convinced that the actress that portrays Madison (Kim Dickens) is a-list talent. Notwithstanding, I do wish Dickens all the best in the future of the series - she is at least likable.

I actually really liked the character of Liza--who was Travis' first wife and Chris' mom, better than Madison. Miss her!! And what the HELL is up with Frank Dillane's hair? And it's not just for this role! Real life too! That is taking "bed head" to the extreme. Actually more gross than zombie guts!
