Came across this on Kickstarter and thought some people here may be interesting in backing it. Perplexed Music

Thanks for sharing this I just backed it. Would love to see what Paul and his brother can do with this.

This looks amazing. Oh to be able to back with £2500 + could really boost up the CV lol

Looks like they have started a new Kickstarter for this with slightly higher price points for the awards (which makes sense if they want to fund it)
I am tempted to do the screening one (even though it's quite expensive) if they end up having a screening in NYC.

I already donated during their first Kickstarter. I don't think I want to again.

I already donated during their first Kickstarter. I don't think I want to again. Kickstarter only takes your money if the project is funded which it wasn't. Unless you gave money outside of kickstarter! Edit: Or when you just give money but don't do one of the rewards does it take your money. I never did that before so I am not sure.

The campaign video is a fascinating watch... I wish I had the money to contribute to it.

I got an email about the new Kickstarter, but haven't looked at the funding options yet. I'll back it at some level.
And, yeah, Kickstarter only takes your money if the project is funded. Since the first try wasn't funded, no one was charged for their pledge.

The only backing level that makes sense for me is the £50 one, which includes a download of the film, but that's still a chunk of change. I can't see why I would back it for less, though. I don't care about being thanked or having my name in the end of film credits.

I did the one for £75 to get the signed DVD. I would increase it to go to a screening but only if it's in NYC. Apparently they are wavering between that an LA. But unfortunately I can't justify even more of an expense to get to LA.

Seven hours left to back this. I decided on the £50 level. It was tempting to do the £75, but I decided I couldn't pledge that much.
It looks like they've met their goal, so the project will be a go.

I pledged £75. I actually was going to pledge for the screening but sadly decided I couldn't afford that. It's not just the pledge itself but I don't know when or where it will be and could end up being an extra expense on top of the cost of the pledge.

Perplexed Music is now on YouTube. It's a short film, about 17 minutes, and worth a watch.
