Hey everyone,
If no-one minds, I've decided to create a bunch of retrospective threads for this years releases. I might be offline for awhile, so I thought it might be a nice bit of discussion for December.
This year, Big Finish expanded into the revival series. What did we think of their take on modern Who and these releases?

I think Big Finish really rose to the challenge with these releases. The most high profile of these releases, the Tenth Doctor Adventures, is excellent. The War Doctor releases are consistently engaging and thought provoking. The Diary of River Song is delightful fun. And UNIT quickly became one of my favorite ranges and may just be the best of all of the revival material thus far.

The first two War Doctor boxes are some of the best thing that BF has done. (I haven't heard the third one yet.) They are great listens and very engaging. The Tenth Doctor stories were quite good too, if a bit light-weight. My favourite release featurng New Who characters though was last year's Jago & Litefoot & Strax release, The Haunting, that was brilliantly funny. (We need more!) So of those that I have heard, BF have done very well with their early forays in to new series elements.
