I've got to say that I am really enjoying The Time Meddler by Nigel Robinson. Very well read by Peter Purves.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed The Time Meddler by Peter Purves and it turns out to be the last post on here!! Purves's gets the agitation of the Doctor spot on in this reading as well as providing interesting accents for the villagers. I remember reading this when it was released and finding it a very cosy little novelisation and the audio book left me feeling very similar. A little gem!
Just started Anneke Wills' reading of The Faceless Ones and it fits in very well with her Early Adventures and Short Trips.
When they started these Talking Targets with the William Russell set my first thoughts were 'another cash cow' for the BBC and 'who the hell were going to get these.' I must have bloody loads now and they are a very pleasing alternative to some of the over watched TV episodes!

In the midst of Scratchman at the moment - already recommended the audiobook very strongly for Tom's glorious first-person recounting of his Doctor's antics in the WHO BOOKS thread.
I also checked out The Deadly Assassin, read by Geoffrey Beevers, a few months back. His performance as the Master is not the same one he does in Keeper of Traken or for Big Finish, despite it being ostensibly HIS Master. Rather, he's much more decrepit-sounding, which I found interesting.

You know, now that you mention it, I actually do rather like Attack of the Cybermen ...

Moffatt's Day of the Doctor is a phenomenal novelisation - and Nick Briggs' reading is fantastic as well. Have been listening all week and really enjoying it

I had watched the episode already 5 times but this book still managed to sound fresh and dish up a lot of surprises.
Amazing.

Agreed. Finished it yesterday. Davies and Chibnall are great writers and showrunners but Moffatt is a genius.

I've just treated myself to a few of the Terrance Dicks page turners like Image of the Fendahl and Horror of Fang Rock, as I fancied some of the breezier ones for a change. I was surprised (and a little disappointed) to find they had the same soundtracks as The Curse of Fenric though.

Just had a relisten to the audiobook of Ghost Light. I can see why people dislike it, but I find it very atmospheric (on a par with the TV episodes) and Hogg's reading is very dedicated, if not exactly speedy!
