The Flash S6 Ep3 ZZZZzzzz, soon as Crisis wraps up I'm done with the CW series. I've given up on all the CW shows. I just wanna see this Crisis crossover then I'm done, there all very poor shows nowdays, Watchmen, The Boys, Swamp Thing all far superior, better acted, production values & well written.

'As it came out yesterday, this today I've been watching series 4 of 'She-Ra', which I enjoyed. 'Curious as to how they'll wrap it all up though in the fifth (and hopefully not final) series... God, I hope the fifth isn't the last, that was amazing. It'd be a shame to get only two traditional seasons (26-episodes apiece) of the show before it ended. Double Trouble's got to be my new favourite for their "method acting" and there was something genuinely creepy about Beast Island. An environment that wasn't actively malevolent, but just... all-consuming. Like a fungus. {Spoiler}I also liked how after Adora gives Etheria another chance, Catra is the one that keeps that chance, almost in passing. I'm wondering who specifically reprogrammed Lighthope, though. The First Ones? The Horde? The Ethereans? Someone else we haven't met yet?

Apparently they've planned the current storyline to be 52episodes (taking us up to the end of series 5), so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they can go further on from there... Double Trouble's fun, yes.

MASH: "Hot Lips and Empty Arms" - Hot Lips gets sick of the lack of respect and discipline, and wants out. I'm pretty sure this is the second time this season Margren Houlihat has asked for a transfer.
Star Trek: The Animated Series: "The Slaver Weapon" - Weird side-step into Larry Niven's Known Space universe, but a good episode nonetheless. I do wonder what Enterprise's Season 5 Kzinti story would have been like.
Columbo: "Double Exposure" - Robert Culp again. He just never learns. Solid episode, but since it's predicated on subliminal messaging, which I believe has been debunked, it maybe doesn't hold up as well as it might.

It would've been interesting to see how Enterprise went around realising the Kzinti. I'd have preferred full prosthetic makeup or an animatronic head, but the CGI Gorn holds up pretty well, so I dunno...

But I imagine the Kzinti would have to do a lot more talking and interaction than the Gorn did, which really only needed to be on screen briefly. I think prosthetics would be likely, maybe with some sort of animatronic component like Shran's antennae.

Lethal Weapon Final Series
Actually rather good given the pervious year's behind the scenes tension Sean William Scott's a decent replacement and its a good alternate but similar character arc.
Overall a satisfying End.

Re-watching the Orville. I just love this show. On the surface it is very light-hearted and sometimes the humor can be a bit juvenile, but it has a serious core and does a great job highlighting social challenges. In the beginning I had expected to be annoyed by the humor, but it has grown on me and it has really started to stand on it's own in season 2. Cannot wait for season 3.

Caught up on first episode of His Dark Materials
It’s been years since I read the books, so can’t really say how faithful this adaptation is but it’s very promising so far. The production values are very high, so I’m interested to see where this goes.

Rewatching B7 season 4 for the first time in years.
Stardrive is an episode with 10 minutes of exciting setup, followed by 10 minutes of plot, padded with 30 minutes of wandering around in a quarry.

Another recent episode roundup:
The Simpsons: "Treehouse of Horror XXX" - Meh. I've never liked Treehouse/out of canon episodes that much anyway. Family Guy: "Disney's The Reboot" - Also meh. Wraparound was funny, actual segments sucked. South Park: "Tegridy Farms Halloween Special" - No clue where the season is going, but it's funny as hell. The Simpsons: "Gorillas on the Mast" - Good.
Also for nostalgia's sake:
Mystery Science Theater 3000: "Catalina Caper" - Good episode, though some running gags wear thin. Boasts the "Creepy Girl" song.

The Mandalorian is my favorite piece of live-action Star Wars since The Empire Strikes Back.

watchman episode 1
oh my it thought it was just awful...…..what the stuff has it got to do with watchmen comic or movie bar tenuous links and shoe horning ozzy in...…
from mind less violence to exploding cows, a horrific opening scene that wrong footed me from the off, and a plot that made little or no sense to me
I'm not sure I watched the same thing that's gained all this positive buzz...….
I think it will be no surprise to say I wont be watching any more, and for the first time in a long time its bothered me we are making shows like this in the name of entertainment
