The Mandalorian. It's amazing the things that stick with you. I can remember first encountering the Mandalorians during Knights of the Old Republic. Following a long war with the Jedi that led to the rise of the Sith in their ranks. The fact that they were defeated didn't speak to the weakness of their culture, but to the strength of the Revanchists. Even skulking about in the jungles of Dxun, working second-hand equipment on a third-rate moon, they made a strong impression and there are more than a few echoes of that here. Beaten down into hiding not by the Jedi and Malachor V, but by the Empire. History book on the shelf is always repeating itself. Four episodes in and it's a damn good show. A solitary hero is tricky to pull off -- particularly one hidden perpetually behind a mask -- but they're managing it with aplomb. You don't even need to close an eye and tilt your head to see the little nods and winks to Legends continuity (with mention of Imperial warlords, bureaucratic rumblings in the Core and the uneasy transition the Galaxy's making after Endor). Looking forward to more. Yes it's fantastic. Love how it's simplistic, episodic old fashioned TV/storytelling. Basically the complete opposite of the new movies.

i found this show on youtube called impulse. is free to watch. the main character is a teenage girl with a boys name. henry short for henrietta it sort of looked very ya or cw ish. but it really isnt . it has a lot of the same ingredients but it hadles them very differently. the high schoolers arent stereo types or the groups arent typical its about people with superpowers but its not really about the super powers. it sort of has a little bit of a heroes vibe but this show is dark it can really build up the tension. and in a good way. im impressed with this show and the cast. www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdKCzhU7kQI

Titans season 2, gotta be honest I'm not enjoying this quite as much as the first season, Dick/Robin arc taking a backseat who in my opinion is the best character in the show.
Minka Kelly who plays Dawn please marry me as your stunningly beautiful.

Columbo: "A Case of Immunity" - A murder at a Middle Eastern consulate means Columbo has to navigate the muddy waters of international diplomacy. An interesting idea to put our favorite policeman into unfamiliar territory where - as exemplified by a pragmatic talking-to by the State Department - his usual tricks will not be tolerated. Not my favorite episode around, but solid, and I appreciate the risk-taking.
Fawlty Towers: "Gourmet Night" - With the Beating of the Car, the show goes from excellent to a historic landmark.
MASH: "The Bus" - Most of the main cast drives home from a medical conference in a bus. Bus breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Hijinks ensue.

Fawlty Towers: "The Germans" - You see, I speak English very good. I learn it from a book.
MASH: Season 4, Episodes 7-8 - Horse rescue and undeserved medals.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

The Germans is probably where FT became an institution. Such a magnificently put together piece regardless of what might be thought of it today.

More TOS
Blink OF An Eye: I didn’t mind this. Good, dumb fun with an appealing guest character who’s more of a troublemaker than a villain. Also the only episode where Kirk definitely gets the girl. A good script hides the plot holes and inadequacies of the story.
The Empath: a stupid premise (“we just need someone to perform an act of humility so we can prove that your whole race has some value.” Um, you first, please) made palatable by McCoy taking centre-stage in a rare moment. This was an episode that was ruined by Galaxy Quest. Every couple of episodes my wife or I have muttered “I see you got your shirt off” at various scenes and this one was no different. However, when McCoy is put under the exact same tortures as Kirk, he keeps his uniform on. Was their a quota or something? Or was McCoy just not as attractive to viewers?

Maybe Kirk got the cheap uniforms. McCoy aint no Scoorge lol

Avenue 5
(Sci-Fi Comedy from the writer of The Thick of It starring Hugh Lurie. A short range Space Cruise Liner is knocked off course for Earth increasing the length of the journey past the available food and fuel supply, added to this. the crew might be less capable then they seem.)

Columbo: "Identity Crisis" - A dead Leslie Nielsen under the boardwalk leads Columbo to uncover a nest of CIA operatives and double agents. Very good, but with enough oddments that it's not quite top-tier. Patrick McGoohan's performance in this reminds me of Sideshow Bob.
MASH: "Quo Vadis, Captain Chandler?" - A wounded man claims to be Jesus himself. A welcome return of both Col. Flagg and Maj. Freedman. I hope both of them continue to recur.
Short Treks: "The Girl Who Made the Stars" - Decent little fairy tale, though it doesn't have much to do with Star Trek. Shame that kid Burnham has so much more personality than her older, live-action counterpart.
Short Treks: "Ephraim and Dot" - Horrendous. Nothing but a series of throwaway TOS references that aren't even in the right order.

MASH: Season 4, Episodes 10-12 - Mulcahey gets a visit from a gung-ho chaplain, Sgt Zale gets a Dear John letter, Radar gets drunk. I'm noticing more and more episodes that don't have a laugh track. It's a good thing so far as I'm concerned since I turn them off anyhow, but it's indicative of the direction the show seems to be going.

Hello again.
Special mention for tonight's Last Leg shortly available on All4. David Tennant was on as well as a unique tribute to the late Terry Jones which has to be seen to be believed... Also next weeks Last Leg is a Brexit special, featuring Armando Iannucci and Lorraine Kelly as Westminster reporter and... yes at last the Geoff from Byker Grove, Victorian explorer beard finally will go....hoorah!
Good Omens episodes 1 and 2, lovely, really enjoying it so far.

I started in on the second series of Sex Education. First hour was all about putting the band back together. And man, I think this sets the record for most masturbation montages.
