Only Fools and Horses: "Who's a Pretty Boy?" - Wrapping up Season 3 with an ex-canary. Only Fools and Horses: "Thicker Than Water" - Reg Trotter lives up to his reputation for trickery. I vaguely recall hearing about maybe some questionable parentage for Del and Rodney, so I guess this is that. It will be re-visited in later EPs Regards mark687

Hill Street Blues: Season 4, Episodes 11-12 - What a great season this has been so far. These last couple episodes even made me like Fay (briefly).

Its a sad footnote, but "Who's a Pretty Boy?" has always been marred by the suicide of the actress playing Denzil's wife (he became a key player, like Boycie). She was a talented actress and the feeling was that the events concerning her departure from the series 'Widows' led her to think her career was finished (the link below adds more than I previously knew). I remember reading from accounts by the likes of John Sullivan and the Only Fools production team that she was mistaken and they would have had her back, being on her side. A sad waste and a genuine tragedy. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eva_Mottley

Season 2 of Umbrella Academy. Expected lunacy, but some of the content is pretty timely. I'm up to episode 5.

Watched Temple. Really good - has this quasi 80s graphic novel quality, since it's about an underground clinic for crooks, crossed with a contemporary Breaking Bad-esque 'normal guy swallowed by crime' family drama.

Hill Street Blues: "Fuchs Me? Fuchs You!" - Vintage Linda Hamilton...what a lucky man that Joe Coffey is. All I can think of is how ripped she got for T2 compared to her T1-era self here.

Prodigal Son (Episodes 1-2)
It’s fine. Much like you would expect, it’s very much inspired by Silence of the Lambs. Michael Sheen is good though.
Very much a case of what you see is what you get.

I binge-watched season 4 of Agents of Shield over the past several days. Interesting story line. I wasn't that thrilled about how Daisy's storyline was going in the opening episodes, but I ended up enjoying the season of stories overall.

Hill Street Blues: "Grace Under Pressure" - A poignant yet silly tribute to one of Hill Street's finest.

I've enjoyed the show from the beginning. This last season has been wonderful. Just one more two-hour episode to go.

I only have the last episode of The Umbrella Acadamy left. I find this show loads of fun. And Aiden Gallagher is a marvel.

Hill Street Blues: Season 4, Episodes 15-16 - I really should go back and count how many times the reception area windows have been smashed over the course of the show...

Hill Street Blues: "The End of Logan's Run" - I wasn't expecting that title to be so literal and so sad.

After the awfulness that was the first series of Star Trek: Picard, I approached Star Trek: Lower Decks with a certain degree of caution but I found it to be pretty funny. I don't know how I'll feel at the end of it but I'm already more invested in new characters than at any point of Picard.

After the awfulness that was the first series of Star Trek: Picard, I approached Star Trek: Lower Decks with a certain degree of caution but I found it to be pretty funny. I don't know how I'll feel at the end of it but I'm already more invested in new characters than at any point of Picard. Is it less juvenile and revolting than the trailers made it out to be, or is it the same Rick and Morty sort of humor throughout? My hope is that it may take an Orville sort of trajectory where it matures over time. I loathe Discovery, and while Picard was something of an improvement, I'm really quite sick of the 2009+ version of Star Trek. Lower Decks is the first time I've ever taken a wait-and-see approach with this franchise, so word-of-mouth is welcome.
