Today and yesterday I've watched the first two three-part 'Chicago' crossovers (well, plus 'Law & Order: SVU'). Whilst I'm not going to say that I strictly 'loved' the first one (it was decent enough, but a bit of a background watch for me), having just finished the second one, I will say that it was a pleasant way of spending a Monday evening...
Over the past little over week I've been watching the 70s 'Wonder Woman' show for the first time and have been enjoying it more than I thought I would.

Hello again
Inside Number 9: Quietly sinister and a total contrast to last week. Simon Says is definitely one for the fans...

Tonight’s Inside No. 9 was an equally fascinating and unsettling dissection of fan culture! Looking forward to hearing the podcast from Shearsmith & Pemberton about it tomorrow.

Hello again
The Inside Inside Number 9 podcast is lovely. I enjoy their obvious friendship and the little nuggets of insider information are fascinating. Their conversation about fandom and how this impacted the creation of the episode is interesting. Looking forward to listening to the other episodes about previous installments.

Last night's "Lego Masters USA"; it's impressive how they managed to spoil things in advance THREE TIMES and yet it was still an exciting and impressive development as we saw how much weight the Lego bridges would bear.
Also currently watching the third and final series of "Bored to Death". A little gem that British tv seems not to have spotted.

Hello again The Inside Inside Number 9 podcast is lovely. Incidentally, has anybody worked out if it's possible to get this in a feed? I've managed to find hidden feeds for other programs on BBC Sounds, but this one's got me stumped. It'd be a lot more convenient if I could get it in my iPod with everything else rather than in the BBC Sounds app on my phone.

This evening I've been watching the fourth "big" 'Chicago'-verse crossover from March 2017 (I'm currently watching the third part as I type). Whilst I will say that the subject matter is a little dark (an arson attack, leading to the death of 30-something), I am positively loving it!
Whilst, overall, so far I don't know if I would go back and watch through all four of the shows (it's apparently almost 500 episodes, after all), I would certainly be happy to consider giving the crossovers a go should they do anymore three-parters down the line...

They do one at least one every year sometimes its just across 2 or 3 shows [Chicago Justice only lasted one series] and they sometimes include an EP of Law & Order SVU, however each story-line of these Crossovers is self-contained within the relevant EPs. Regards mark687 Whilst I will say that I think I've always been at least 'aware' of the 'Chicago' shows, I've only recently given a look into because of the crossovers (I was looking up 'Law & Order' for whatever reason and saw the amount of ones that 'Chicago' has done over the years, and thought that, as I had nothing else to do, I thought I'd give the three-parters a go, as I've been getting into them recently, because of the 'Arrowverse'). The latest three-parter (October 2018's) attracted me to them (and the shows as a whole), as I found amusement in the fact that they were airing a story called 'Infection' around when Covid started to rear it's head, and I thought that I'd give the others a watch first so that I could at least get a 'feel' for the shows and their characters before I leapt into it. I don't know if I am strictly in a 'hurry' to give the two-parters a watch quite yet (crossover-wise I've started to grow a fondness of ones three, or more, episodes long as I find them a bit more immersive and a pleasant way to spend an evening, as I can technically class them as a marathon), I might give them a shot when I have 85-odd minutes spare one afternoon...

This evening I've been wrapping up the three-part 'Chicago'-verse crossovers with October 2019's 'Infection'. Whilst I don't know if I strictly loved and enjoyed it as much as some of the others (the two involving fires in particular), it was still a decent enough way of starting to wind down for the evening after a busy couple of days at work...
Is it bad that I find the fact that they aired a crossover called 'Infection' around the time Covid started to rear it's head a little bit (accidentally) funny?... Yeeeeah, I'm going to hell, aren't I?

This evening I've also watched 'Inside No. 9' and, whilst I don't know if I would strictly call it my favourite episode, it was a rather pleasant and 'quiet' episode... Afterwards I watched last year's two-part crossover between the two 'FBI' shows and, whilst I don't know if I really 'loved' it, it was an interesting enough way to start winding down for the evening. Don't think I would strictly in a 'rush' to watch either of these shows again (unless I was bored and they happened to be on UK TV), but I would be at least interested enough to give them another go should they do another crossover between the pair (and the upcoming third show)... EDIT - Before getting into bed, I'm also watching an episode of 'My Family', guest-starring Anthony Stewart-Head which, by coincidence, first aired in the UK a little over two weeks after the final episode of 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' went out in America... (May 20th & June 6th 2003).

This series of Inside No. 9 is going from strength to strength. If it keeps it up, it might be the consistently best series so far.
