I work with kids and sometimes they ask me really random questions: So yesterday a little girl randomly asked me out of the blue, what kind of karate I do I do? I responded with a smile “I did not do karate.” But in this moment I realized that I am such a whovian, I had to fight every impulse inside me not to say the first answer that came into my mind: “I practice the art of Venusian Aikido” and then strike a pose like 3😉 Why not introduce the kids to some pop culture? Some of them might thank you.

For a Halloween event at work I dressed as the TARDIS and after some kids asked me what I was I told them I was a TARDIS and explained that it stood for Time and Relative Dimension In Space😀 Also another time when we had pretend rocket ships and mission control centers I took a boy to the moon and we looked for moon dragons 🌕🐉😄

Some knee her reactions and rants regarding The Timeless Children have made me roar with laughter. Then quietly despair.

Far too rude to post any of it here but when you get the chance look up Dudley Moore’s and Peter Cook’s Derek and Clive. I guarantee you, you will never laugh as hard after watching it. Very filthy humour though so be warned.
Personal favourites include their discussion about Whales and how to send a letter.

Great to see that at least someone has not lost their humour in this situation. I thought this was hilarious and I hope it made some people laugh. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcQkDCVDmnY

Saw this earlier today. Made me smile, at least, in an inoffensive way:

"Supporters of First Minister Nicola Sturgeon are calling for people to clap between 6pm and 6.10pm tonight in tribute to the Scottish National Party leader for how she has handled the coronavirus crisis" To be fair, she has not played politics by and large through this, mainly keeping to a unified strategy for better or worse, with small changes allowing for regional topography and demographics. She knows Nationalists would like her to work more independently of Westminster, but that would leaver her accountable for any higher death count. I believe she has distanced herself from SNP elements who have crowed over the comparative statistical differences. You don't have to like her politics to appreciate that she is a formidable politician. So much is learnt with the benefit of hindsight, and given our situation south of the border, the saying about people who live in glass houses not throwing stones comes to mind.
