Not sure if this was the intent but this speaks volumes about Briggs' ego.

The sleeve notes for the audiobook CD of Delta and the Bannermen made me laugh (the bit about the typo in the original printed novelisation). Best laugh I have had in a while.

Laugh?? I roared all day, how absolutely ridiculous does Richard Madeley look I suppose he 'allegedly' slapped on the fake tan in error again instead of the moisturiser !!

Stumbling across the music video for Billie Piper’s hit ‘Because We Want To’
The crude CGI and sheer cheesiness of the song in question just puts a smile on my face. Truly a relic of another time and if I’m correct I think they were still playing this come the early to mid noughties.

Meanwhile, in Berlin, Germany. www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-53692475And yes, it is completely normal over here to lie down naked in public parks and at beaches and lakes. Nobody cares. Except if local wildlife becomes involved.

You learn something new every day.... so there appears to be a German horror movie producer. Since I am not into horror, this had so far passed me by.
Now, this adds a sinister twist...

Now, this adds a sinister twist... Oh, please don't watch his films. He's a director I love but sweet Lord, I loaned someone at work who was curious my copy of Nekromantik. He's a big horror guy, nothing phases him. He said he vomited about 5 times watching it. His films are EXTREME, but as a mix of the massively macabre and the oddly romantic they have something that is the definition of cult.

Although, since I have veterinary training and had to do 3 months work at the slaughterhause for my course, there is pretty little gore-wise that can shock me anymore.
But anything going deeper, psychological horror, and you have me wide awake for a month.
