Today I learnt that the 'Chicago' shows (of which I've been loosely aware of but never looked much into) has had quite a few crossovers over the years... The latest, airing October 2019? Yeah, that one was called 'Infection'... Yes, yes I have spent the last couple of minutes cackling away...

The Political Eurovision Song Contest, hilarious. Fingers crossed that next year the UK can't find a single person who wants participate in that absolute farce and we don't enter. We should be above that nonsense.

Well, it appears that Dracula didn't travel from Transylvania and that old ruin atop Whitby Harbour was actually his Castle, and not his destination. ( Clue - its called Whitby 'Abbey' for a reason) Or perhaps someone isn't all too familiar with the story: Big Weekend: Coldplay play at Dracula's castle for Radio 1 gig

Seeing what GB News is all about, very bizarre like one of those immitation news broadcasts from a low budget movie. Given some of the people involved, it reminds me more a high class movie - Network. And it's anyone's guess who goes full Howard Beale first! I've met Andrew Neil when I worked for a year in local politics in my MSP's office after uni (just as an office job - no-one was asking my opinions on policy! ) and he was still editor in chief at The Scotsman..the nicest thing I can say about him is that he had quite a smart suit. He was rude, thought he deserved VIP treatment, was reeking of BO and was just an unpleasant force in general for the hour or so he was there. And lest anyone think "He would say that, the Scottish Nationalist that he is!" knowing Neil very much opposed Independence. But the MSP's office was Pauline McNeill of Labour (pro-union( and the single nicest person I met during that year from politics was Alistair Darling, the head honcho of Better Together himself. In total opposition with my views he may have been and is but he was terrific, an absolutely lovely guy. He's still wrong about Indy but hey
