I quite liked this one. I went in expecting something typical and left pleasantly surprised. I like that this story didn't submit to what I feel might be the obvious stereotype to submit to when you have a trapped Time Lord with not infrequent bouts of bitterness - from any other place, I would have expected nothing less. Instead, I got a short, lighthearted Third Doctor romp with a suitable level of Christmas coziness that definitely does not overstay its welcome!

I wonder what the issues with the file were - I downloaded and listened to it yesterday and didn't notice any problems.

Wanted to bump this back up as it's drifted off the first page of the sub-board. I wonder if the problem is more contractual rather than technical as its still not back for downloading. BF aren't likely to say if there is a licence issue with it, but if it is purely technical it must be difficult to fix. Just saying... Cheers Tony EDIT: of course I only care because I didn't get chance to download it while it was there

I really liked this story. just Christmassy enough, fun technobabble, and the creepy revulsion factor that Doctor Who does so well.

That was a fun story. I enjoyed that it included Liz and Benton.

A very merry UNIT Christmas with a dash of mystery and just a hint of danger to spice things up; richly garnished with temporal-dimensional festive trimmings, cleverly prepared and done to a turn!
Great to see Liz being fully the research scientist in this story, enquiring, exploring and deducing - and a very nice portrayal of friendly, dependable Benton. And the Doctor clearly mellowing and making the best of his exile (and with the white hair getting more bouffant, going by one line!), so I'd place this story late in Season 7.
Fun and very enjoyable.
