Jamie and Leela seems like a particularly fun idea, I must say.
An interesting idea I had a while back was having Charley unknowingly meet one of the Doctor's companions during her solo adventures, such as Lucie, Tamsin, Liv or Helen. Maybe they meet over a shared conversation where both are discussing some problem that involves the Doctor, but neither of them realize that's who the other person is talking about. I think it might be suitably dramatic to have her come so close to reuniting with the Doctor and yet so far too.

- Captain Jack Harkness and Tegan Jovanka: Jack trying to chat her up and Tegan having none of it would be hilarious.
- Susan Foreman and Vicki: Stories where a character meets his/her replacement are always fun.
- Grace Holloway and Rose Tyler: Both have kissed the Doctor, so both would be fighting over who loves him most.
- Jamie McCrimmon and Rory Williams: Both fun male characters. Would be fun to see them meet.

Definitely Amy & Rory and Ben & Polly for a sequel or a story similar to The Veiled Leopard. Lucie Miller and C'rizz, both would be like brothers fighting for a toy. Read this fanfic www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=30044Clara Oswald and Charley Pollard, I think both will have very interesting talks about mocking the laws of time. Hex and Martha Jones, I think both will have good chemistry together. Bernice Summerfield and River Song, I have no words to describe the epic that would be an adventure with these two archaeological adventurers. Susan and Rose, that will be awkward. Thomas Brewster and Danny Pink, both are the worst of the worst and I hate them.

Peri and Mel -- or even Peri, Mel and Ace. I'm actually a little surprised neither of these combinations have been done yet.
I would also like to hear Liv Chenka paired with an earlier companion of Eight's, preferably Charley.

Hex and Martha Jones, I think both will have good chemistry together. That, in particular, is just brilliant. I'm not the first to suggest it, but another vote for Leela and Jamie. Ace goes with everyone, but I'd like to see her paired with Adric. Constance and Captain Jack.

One we can't have now sadly and I suspect no-one else would want:
Evelyn and Adric
She can offset his more mopish tendencies and help bring out a bit more confidence in him. Evelyn always worked well with younger people. Also if he can eat as prodigously as he did in Black Orchid...she could bake her chocolate cakes till her hearts content.

Well, the one I've been wanting for years -- and might now be possible because of BF -- is River and Jack. Put me down as another in favour of Jamie and Leela. Likewise Jamie and Rory. And yeah, I would've loved to have heard Evelyn with...well, just about everyone, just as I would have Sarah Jane. Alas... Jack and Charley in a "times past Torchwood" might be interesting. How about Rory and Hex? And if it'd mean more Turlough, you could put him with anyone you want. Same with Martha.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Frobisher and Tegan. "One can't steer his TARDIS, one can't change his shape. Rabbits!"

Fitz Kriener and Captain Jack Harkness
Leela and Ace
Wasn't there an story referenced in the 100th M.R release involving 8th Doctor with Lucie meeting a younger 8th Doctor with Charley, that would be interesting to hear...

Harry and Leela. "You are not a coward Harry Sullivan," "Ohh thank you," "Just a fool." This would be a great pairing - maybe for some sort of companion-story read by Louise.

How about Nyssa (and maybe Adric) with Luke from The Sarah Jane Adventures?

Part two...
Rose Tyler & Jack Harkness and Chris Cwej & Roz Forrester as a second choice for a story similar to The Veiled Leopard.
K-9, Kamelion, Kroton, Handles, Catherine Broome, Shayde and Compassion. A heavy metal team up, literally.
Abslom Daak, Cardinal Ollistra and Leela with the War Doctor in.... "John Carpenter's Escape From Shada"
Amy & Rory and Ace. At the end of the adventure, she would see the couple as the parents she wanted to have and they (especially Amy) would see the little girl with explosives as the perfect little sister for Melody.
Majenta Pryce, Destri and Kevin the robot dinosaur. Because yes, it will be fun.
Lady Christina de Souza and Frobisher. "A seductive woman enters the office of the solitary penguin detective to ask a favor"
John Riddell and Tegan Jovanka. Even the most courageous and expert hunter can not defeat the most hostile and savage Australian beast.
Adric & Nyssa and Jamie & Victoria.
Henry Gordon Jago & George Litefoot and Madame Vastra & Jenny, with Ellie & Strax.

How about Nyssa (and maybe Adric) with Luke from The Sarah Jane Adventures? Luke's not a companion. He's companion-adjacent. No need to be pedantic.

I don't know why I always have it stuck in my head, but Leela and Ace - During the Time War, Leela teaches Ace a few knife skills, and Ace teaches Leela to make Nitro-9. Probably also some curious comparisons of their respective Doctors and Ace cheerfully observing any resemblance between Leela's dog and a toaster?
