Book depository also has the collection of 10 audio exclusive books which were released between 2008 and 2012, it is currently listed at $36.94 Canadian. I blipped over this post on my phone. Is that collection Torchwood or something else? Torchwood, it is called Torchwood Tales. It has stuff by Steven Savile, Dan Abnett and James Goss.
I haven't come across Wordery before. Book Depository is still cheaper for the titles mentioned above.

The Wordery seems to be cheaper for Torchwood Tales. I just never dealt with that company before. I came across the Wordery website through a Firefox plug-in called InvisibleHand. When you're shopping, InvisbleHand compares prices on other sites for you and gives you suggestions if there are cheaper prices. It doesn't always work as advertised, but sometimes it's handy for finding an item for less money.

I ended up ordering The Torchwood Tales from an Amazon Marketplace seller, as they were offering it at a lower price than the Book Depository. I'm going to pre-order The Torchwood Collected Radio Dramas from the Book Depository, though. Soon.

My Torchwood Tales order arrived Friday and I've started listening. The first story, Hidden, was pretty interesting.
Just to be clear, The Torchwood Collected Radio Dramas set that is coming out in June is something different, right? Audio dramas as opposed to narrated audiobooks?

Yeah, the one in June combines the Radio Adventres set, with the Lost Files on top at a really good price. They're really pretty strong for people that have only heard BF's Torchwood. I love Joe Lidster's CERN story.

I know the question was old but in the future you can usually order from Amazon UK if you are in the US. I order from them all the time.
I may actually preorder that radio collection set myself considering Joseph Lidster & James Goss wrote some of them. Although I'd rather get them digitally if they were available that way.

I think most of us know that, we mention Book Depository as there is no per-order shipping charge and while they are owned by Amazon, they are often cheaper. The main difference being that Book Depository only sells books and audio books. Amazon sells everything.

I saw the question earlier on this thread can you order from Amazon UK if you are in the US and was just confirming yes you can. Its good to have different options I would think. For example even with shipping the Torchwood Radio files are cheaper on Amazon UK than Book Depository. Plus if the price drops from now until June you are guaranteed the cheaper price.

Joys of price fluctuation, when I ordered it, Book Depository was cheapest. It has happened with a few other BBC audio releases where even with shipping it was cheaper on Amazon Canada, though I find that in general that BD is almost always better priced for books and definitely the Big Finish products than what you find elsewhere.

At the moment, it's less than a dollar difference in price between Amazon UK and the Book Depository. Not enough to lose sleep over. It's available to pre-order on Amazon US now, for a couple more dollars, but the release date in the US is not till November.

Mine is in my Audible account. But I am going to have to wait for a slow Big Finish month to find time to listen to it.

My Torchwood radio dramas set arrived today, now I just have to find the time to rip the cd's so I can finally give these a listen (I meant to buy the two individual releases for ages, but just never quite got around to it due to their expensive list prices).

I'm going to rip my new CDs over the weekend, I think, so I can listen on my iPod on the way to and from work next week.

Yeah, I don't know when the last time I listened to a CD as a CD was. The convenience of having an audio library in your pocket is hard to beat...

Well, I did listen to the Torchwood Tales on the CD player. But it was a bit of a pain changing CDs when I was listening while driving. Hence, I'm not doing that again.

Also they are adventures made especially for audio. Yeah, they are basically the BBC Radio Torchwood episodes collected together... and all of them are pretty good. I just used a coupon and picked this up from Book Depository for under 17 bucks American. The only one of those I have heard was The House of the Dead by James Goss and remember it as being excellent.
