That Leela, she gets around! I think Louise Jameson has been in loads hasn't she? Does she have incriminating photos of Nick Briggs!

This sounds like an interesting twist on the usual anthology release.

This sounds like an interesting twist on the usual anthology release. Yes the four episode "Gallifrey style" set up is a great idea and has sparked my interest. And I hope we might get some Time Lord guest stars. Perhaps a previous incarnation of Narvin and/or a Straxus...there are so many to choose from!

This seems like one of the more unique stories in the Monthly Range. I'm not sure what to expect from it, which makes it all the more interesting. Leela being included doesn't hurt either. I'll probably pre-order it closer to the time.

In The Thick Of It meets Doctor Who with the 5th Doctor, Tegan and Leela? Oh hell yes.

I usually don't pre-order main range items. And I never, ever order ones with Tegan.
Here's an exception. 😍

Perhaps the Oliver Hume Straxus again - he never appeared outside of an aberrant timeline.

Any chance, do you think, we might even get Castellan Kelner?

I'm really looking forward to this outside the box story. Tegan with Leela, and Gallifreyan bureaucracy in general will be a wonder to behold. I don't recognise any of the guest cast either, so that's Big Finish once again deepening their pool of talent.

I don't recognise any of the guest cast either, so that's Big Finish once again deepening their pool of talent. Michael Hobbs was a regular in the first - Siri O'Neal - UNIT series and in one of the first two Iris audios. He was also Fazackerly in Other Lives - a part I suggested him for, funnily enough. Tim Sutton was in - and musical director of - Doctor Who and the Pirates. And pops up in Phobos. Nice to see them back Whoing after so long.

A Gallifrey set political comedy featuring the 5th Doctor, Tegan & Leela written by Eddie Robson is the Doctor Who Main Range release I didn't know I had to have.

The quality of that cover artwork reminds me why I still have a CD sub for the Monthly Range, even though my other purchases are nearly all downloads now. They are things of beauty visually too.
Is it just me, or do others also think that the MR artwork has been exceptionally good over the last year and the ones previewed for the rest of 2017?

No it's not just you, the covers have been really good of late. The fact that the main range stories over the last year have been exceptionally good too is even better!

No it's not just you, the covers have been really good of late. The fact that the main range stories over the last year have been exceptionally good too is even better! That the stories have been good to very good is the only thing that matters. Attractive cover design is a nice thing to have but on the scale of what I'm looking for out of a audio drama, it really does come in rather low.
