Is it just me, or does some of the corruption scramble include bits from the interview at the end? Because that's brilliant.

It's one of my favourite things when BF gets bold and experimental with its releases I've got LIVE 34 lined up for a relisten. I also like when Big Finish experiment, because it means they are trying something different. The Main Range trying the three and one stories ten years ago, and the double features at the moment is a good example. However ambition doesn't always mean it's successful, and experimental stories are always of varying mileage.

I was going to put off buying this until I could afford this third lot of Torchwood stories as a whole but after reading everyone's comments I just had to get it, it just seems like my kind of story all over. I got it along with Lives of Captain Jack but I'm sure this will be top of the listening list.

I have a tenner in my PayPal account, and out of everything I could spend it on this release seems the most tempting...

The effort put into the production of this one was just remarkable - it was Lynch-like in it's fragmented moods which form a whole by the end. Was also pleased this wasn't a lecture on the merits of paying for entertainment and the torrent was a McGuffin more than anything. Naoki is just fantastic to listen to. How did Tosh and Ianto end up my favourite Torchwood characters? Oh, that's right...Big Finish.

Haven't read any of the previous posts as I just started listening to this, but I couldn't resist writing something. At the beginning when she says "nobody expects" I kept on filling in "the Spanish Inquisition."

Amazing to listen to on headphones, even if it did get overwhelming at times. The only way to listen to it, as far as I'm concerned. I felt like I'd missed stuff the first time, so re-listened with headphones. Fantastic story, very well carried out and the acting and effects were really good.

The story itself was quite good, but the corruption aspect throughout got a bit annoying. I am glad I was listening to an mp3 of it and not a CD which I might have thought had a scratch on it or something that my car player couldn't handle.

I actually wasn't sure if the blips and glitches the first time through were the recording or my speaker acting up, as it tends to do. Which is why I re-listened with headphones.

Just catching up with the last few Torchwood releases... As I'd expected, this story was very much worth the price of admission just for Tosh. I think for me, it had some trouble ratcheting up the suspense level even with the obvious care that went into the effects because I think for the better part of the story, it seemed like the threat was pretty much as stated on the box, whereas with something like Dark Shadows Beyond the Grave (which about makes my hair stand on end) the tech glitches quickly transcend "annoying" and become totally unnerving because they're more a part of everything getting more bonkers in unison.
Then again, that may be at least somewhat an unfair comment because there was so much in Corpse Day that I didn't see coming that any stories to follow are probably at risk of seeming at least a little bit less eventful, and maybe a killer torrent is simply self-explanatory enough to not really be too full of surprises? Still a great story and a great production that I really enjoyed hearing.

I thought it was a pretty cool story, especially the way it ended.
