*** Moderation ***Back on topic please guys - this thread is getting seriously derailed *** End Moderation *** Erm... I think it's a brilliant idea turning that beloved double act into a trio and am looking forward to what comes out of this? Yes. Yes, I think that about covers it. I'm rather excited by this.

Finally had a chance to listen to this and loved it. Even got a bit teary eyed when Litefoot described the Doctor. Making me cry on public transportation, thanks a lot Big Finish.

Remind me where they meet 7 and 8. Eight teams up with them in The Bodysnatchers. Just with Litefoot, no?

Ah, same as me. As far as personal canon goes they've met only 7 so far. Cheers for the info though. Whether you like it or not, Doctor Who explicitly doesn't have a canon, and everything counts. Trying to ignore anything requires willfully ignoring the intent of the production team. You stating that they explicitly don't is YOUR version of canon, and if you need that explained then go read what canon actually means, and then fill us in on what the intent of the production team is because we'd love to know, really. And Who DOES have canon. It has one item of canon, and that is that Scream of the Shalka isn't canon. Others will argue that but that's been laid down by RTD and Moffat.

It was to ensure that the Shalka Doctor didn't get in the way of the 2005 revival, so he was declared officially not canon. Personally I'd have preferred if they said Dimensions in Time wasn't canon, because that's terrible but no such luck.

No one in authority has EVER declared Shalka not canon. But there is no canon.

ah, the old "people mistaking canon for continuity" dilemma.

So the juggler was the 11th Doctor all along.
Kudos to any Whovians on here who can guess which classic series quote I'm misquoting.

Good news. As for the covers: 'we know who you are!' - the unique choice of headgear and Jago's description of him were very clear!
