IF this is true and she has recorded something for BF, I would think it's either:
1) Indeed audios with Tennant, but perhaps separately so to fit around Tennant's schedule for Don Juan.
OR
2) When she says it's with Tennant, she could possibly just mean his Doctor and that it's actually for the Tenth Doctor Chronicles set.
Either way, I'm taking this with a pinch of salt for now.

Number two is surely unlikely, otherwise surely Billie Piper would also be in the Ninth Doctor Chronicles set?

A rumour is just a rumour until it's positively announced by BF. Just look at The Doctor's daughter - every time it's mentioned Nick goes defensive and yet Peter Davison said it is happening. At the moment we only have his word, no official announcement so it's still a rumour.
Cheers
Tony

Good point I've read elsewhere: Tennant will have been in rehearsals for Don Juan for the last month. He simply won't have had the time to have "just" recorded anything. Presumably he isn't rehearsing every day though and I would assume it would only take a couple of days to record some Big Finish. No, he has been rehearsing every day for the last month. Being the lead in a major West End production is a fairly big commitment.

He certainly won't have been taking on any extra work, and if he did have any downtime any sane man would want to spend it with his family.

As hard as it is for you to believe at the moment, once you join the real world of work it's very true, I used to work 12 hours a day seven days a week from August to mid December, 6 days 10 hours for the rest of the year. I did that for 15 years and believe me you don't find much time for other stuff......its commit or quit as they used to say. I am afraid that's the reality of work buddy for many many people......add in family commitments and your free time disappears.

I think there should be a law passed in parliament that everyone must be given at least a day's break because that's just slave labour in my view.

Yes opening any show is a lot of work but no a person isn't going to rehearse 30 days straight. I know from an American perspective there is no way Actors Equity would allow that without some serious expense. We know part of the appeal of audio to actors is that there are no lines to learn, no costume to put on and no make-up to worry about. Said actor wants into the studio and walks out several hours later with their material in the can. We also know Big Finish have becomes wizards of scheduling. So if Tennant is in town rehearsing, I see no reason why he would not have been able to pop off to the studio a few times to record his material. There is also the possibility that Piper & Tennant have recorded some of their material separate from one another.

There are laws, but it's very easy for companies to circumvent & often expect you to sign yourself out the working directive. but regards of the laws you need to pay your bills, meet your commitments & look after your job.

And if professional UK actors have unions anything like US actors do there will be rules & regulations in place to see that that kind of avoidance of rules doesn't take place.

People can opt out, and sitting at home learning lines wouldnt count anyway.

All Quiet On The Big Finish Front You'd think they'd have denied it if it wasn't true.

Big Finish does not like to announce anything until it is actually recorded. We just need to wait and see.
This won't stop any of us from asking Nick this weekend.
