I hope this is true. If it is, I hope Billie Piper will also be willing to play Rose in some of the other ranges. With Adam as one of the companions in the Ninth Doctor Chronicles, BF is really scraping the bottom of the barrel for Ninth Doctor companions.

Yeah, I'm really hopeful we'll get some Ninth Doctor, Rose, and Jack stories in future Ninth Doctor Chronicles box sets. I'd actually be more excited about that - even if it is absent of Christopher Eccleston - than I would be for Ten and Rose (and, just to clarify, if this rumor turns out to be true, then I have no doubt I'll buy it).

As hard as it is for you to believe at the moment, once you join the real world of work it's very true, I used to work 12 hours a day seven days a week from August to mid December, 6 days 10 hours for the rest of the year. I did that for 15 years and believe me you don't find much time for other stuff......its commit or quit as they used to say. I am afraid that's the reality of work buddy for many many people......add in family commitments and your free time disappears. Seven days is crazy. I think there should be a law passed in parliament that everyone must be given at least a day's break because that's just slave labour in my view. Considering you're studying film and TV, you will learn quickly that seven day weeks are more than a little common in the entertainment business.

If Billie Piper is coming back to play Rose opposite Tennant this is excellent news because A) It proves how good BF are at negotiating and appealing to actors-Piper has been gone nearly a decade but Rose is still fresh in my mind, she has a very busy and successful career and had previously indicated that she wasn't very interested in coming back B) It's good news for all the 10/Rose fans C) As I am not a fan of this paring it is still great news...for my bank account...

Hopefully it's not a simple misunderstanding and Billie Piper's in The Tenth Doctor Chronicles, not actually recording with David Tennant.

I welcome any possibility Billie Piper is to feature in anything from Big Finish, alongside David Tennant or otherwise.

To be honest, if we were getting Billie Piper back as Rose I'd not be quibbling about what she was doing.

Perhaps it's because he introduced so, so many people to the show. Probably more than anyone else since Tom Baker. I fail to see how him introducing lots of people to the show explains or excuses such behavior from people. I can understand people being excited for the 10DAs, I was too, but the level of "Fůck everything else, Tennant is the only one who matters" after the first set news leaked was sickening. Honestly the behavior of some of the uber Tennant fans is part of the reason I've soured on his Doctor...

I don't know if 10 and Rose would be quite the same without David Tennant, and at least we have already had Catherine Tate record with Tennant if she is among the Tenth Doctor Chronicles cast. Freema Ageyman whilst great didn't have that same chemistry as Tennant and Piper or Tate so I don't mind with her either way.

There's a morbid part of me that hopes BF would find an excuse to partner her up with Colin Baker's Doctor first somehow, if only to read the comments from the more extreme 'fans'...

I Can just see Nick Briggs head exploding if this a remotely legit leak. Regards mark687 After the hype of 10DA V1, I wouldn't put it past some websites or people to make up false rumours that sound like they have a basis in fact soley to get more page views, this may very well be a legitimate leak, but it's a pretty vague and it seems fairly obvious BF would try and get Tennant together with Piper or Kingston if they could.

The other way round surely. Ten and Donna got a little bit of attention in the news media, but its only the hardcore fans who are reall excited about stuff like that. Shame that certain new series fans wouldn't give it a chance because 'it's only audio'. I think, unfortunately BF are in a bit of a loose-loose situation with many New Who fans, audio is an expensive and niche format and BF's customer base is small in comparison to the TV series, the prices reflect that and have worked for the audience over the last 20 years, but those fans won't be around forever and many won't be interested in New Who audios, many New Who fans are younger and have less disposable income, if they haven't heard audio dramas before the cost might put them off giving the format a chance, if I was a 15 year old fan given the choice of paying for either a DVD series boxset for $30 or 3 audioplays with my pocket money, I know what I would be more likely to choose.

Was it Sylvester who said he liked audios because you can really get inside the head of the characters? He's absolutely right. And although there are some fans who don't rate audio as much as television, audio has the advantage in that it can afford to take the time to really flesh out characters we only see comparatively briefly on television. Without the desperate need for ratings and such-like, there is no compunction to move the stories at a break-neck, spectacular speed all the time, and we are allowed more character-pieces as a result. BF's success with less than popular TV characters like Mel and Adric - and dare I suggest The Sixth Doctor - is a testament to this.

I think BF has perfected exploiting the kind of stories you can't tell on television, just as the TV show creates fast moving stories often with spectacular visuals. The two approaches compliment each other beautifully. Love 'em all!
