Glad to see they can use Madame Vastra now. A Paternoster Gang spinoff can't be too far off.

Is there any reason why Churchill appears be restricted to New Series Doctors only?

Is there any reason why Churchill appears be restricted to New Series Doctors only? I guess maybe Big Finish want to keep using this set as a vehicle to get around the lack of new series Doctors available, I can't see why there'd be an actual restriction.

From the sound of the sound of the second stories synopsis, I think we can except either {Spoiler} Eight or the War Doctor appearing this time, as well as 11 in the 1st, 9 in the 3rd and probably 10 in the 4th but not sure as no clues are given in the synopsis.

"Weary" sounds like Nine, "Battered leather jacket" sounds Warrish.

Not how I thought Madame Vastra would be introduced into Big Finish but meeting Churchill is cool I guess. Doctor Who's Churchill has certainly gotten around. Let's hope we finally get that Paternoster, J&L, and Victorian Torchwood crossover at some point. One of the wonderful things about audio is that we can get Paternoster stories without the time consuming makeup.

The first set passed me by in amongst the other exciting new ranges Big Finish were releasing last year. The second one sounds very appealing though; Vastra and the potential for a War Doctor story are irresistible to me.
What do we think the lineup is? The first story is obviously the Eleventh Doctor. The second and third could both be either the War or Ninth Doctors. The fourth is presumably the Tenth, though it's vague.

So is it a coincidence that this release is scheduled for after Moffat's last story in charge even though it's been recorded already.
Could it be he was holding Madame Vastra back until he was done with the character, in ehich case could she appear at Christmas.

If that is the case, he could have just been keeping his options open, but decided against bringing her back.

I'm thinking in regards to doctors in which story, 1st story - eleventh doctor (woohoo😁) 2nd story - not 100% sure yet but thinking it may be the war doctor (also would explain the Feb 18 release date, as a mark of respect to john hurt) 3rd story - clearly ninth doctor 4th story - tenth doctor (process of elimination really)
I really loved the first set, actually my favourite set of the originally announced new series projects, so I can not wait for this!!! 😁

Could the War Doctor not be a potential candidate for the third story? "Battered leather jacket" matches him as well as the Ninth. Same for "weary from his own people's conflict" from the second story synopsis.
