Interesting. I feel it would have been 8 if dear John Hurt hadn't passed away. As usual Tom is in the vortex!

Okay, I want to be the first pedant to say "Shouldn't it be Doctors Who?"

Shame it has to be in London. If you could choose the location and venue I would pay £5 for a ticket.

Doesn't even say if prize includes travel expenses.

Doesn't even say if prize includes travel expenses. I can't imagine it does. Rarely do.

Doesn't even say if prize includes travel expenses. If you read, it says that travel expenses are not paid for.

I've not seen a single person overseas complaining about the location. Have a sense of proportion. The Doctors are all making themselves available, you can at least be prepared to travel to them. It's a fiver. For charity. And an amazing prize. Wherever it is.

Yeah it's for charity but if I won I would be jeapoardising someone else who may have been able to gone - unlike some, I have university commitments. It would be so much better if the winner chose venue or location, albeit perhaps impractical.

If I were to win, would you expect them to come all the way over here just have breakfast with me because I can't go over to London due to university commitments? Granted, I haven't read the competition rules to see if people overseas can actually participate, but that's because I accepted the moment I read it I wouldn't be a part of it, so there was no point complaining about it.

Australia would be a bit much. I know it wouldn't be feasible, it's just annoying when everything is either in London or Cardiff.

Surely a Whovian would make the effort to be available.

Surely a Whovian would make the effort to be available. Maybe everyone at BF should enter, and if they win just get David to record some stuff over a roll and square sausage. That's if they don't invade the Ducktales recordings, that is.

It is what it is - they're busy men and to expect 8 of them to spare the time to travel at the same time all over the UK? It's not just a bit much - it's fantasy. To get them all to give up an hour or two at the same time is a minor miracle and I'm hoping someone who really loves the whole 53 yars of the show wins as it's pretty much the ultimate prize. You need to get yourself to more regional events. Not everything is London - there are cons and meetups all over the UK all the time. Parts of the Experience was on the road in its early years - it was in Glasgow for a whole year so it's been around. And events like the Symphonic Spectacular have done full UK tours which are fantastic events.
