Yes. They have to pay the artist and get approval by the BBC. If there's three or four individual covers per set that all adds up. We're not talking a *massive* price increase but the sets that don't have individual art any more would have a higher price if they did have individual covers for each story. That's what I'm saying, though. Now that boxsets don't have individual art for each story, by the logic of the tweet, they should be cheaper. But they're not. I'm just getting back into Big Finish after not having bought anything for a few years. For how long have individual stories not had their own artwork?

Also note that the 4DAs have switched to 3 volumes a series, with 3 discs per volume. So I’m guessing this’ll be the format of the new Monthly range then.

Certainly intriguing... but it's hard to get excited about something that's coming out in four years' time.

I assumed that Harry would only be in the opening story but it sounds like he's rejoining the TARDIS with Naomi. I'm especially interested about the comments that she's going to have a huge arc and we'll see her in "unexpected" places...

HOLD UP! No offence to the Eleanor, I'm sure she'll be great, but Harry's coming back as a full-time companion!!! I honestly can't tell you how excited I am for this!!! (March 2024... Okay, I'm excited, but I wouldn't be surprised if I'll have completely forgotten about this by then...)

Hopefully Harry’s appearance in this doesn't ruin his chances of having further adventures with Four and Sarah. I was hoping they’d do a series set after The Android Invasion where Harry rejoins them.
Nevertheless, I’ll be looking forward to Naomi’s introduction. I had hoped that they’d make Eleanor Crooks a companion at some point.
I take it this’ll be set pre-Leela as K9 doesn’t appear to be in it. Although it could always go between Invasion of Time and the Ann Kelso sets I suppose. It’d be odd if the Doctor is on earth having adventures with UNIT and Harry so soon after The Hand of Fear, you’d think he’d pop back to find Sarah.

I think the first part of the eminence story arc was released after the 2nd and 3rd parts because the 1st was a 4DA and they record so far in advance.

Hmm... 3x3 disc boxsets...do we think this is also the format the 5th/6th/7th dr boxsets will take? (if so, I guess we won't be hearing too many 4x25 stories in the future...also wondering if the 3 part format will mean a move towards story arcs with a beginning middle end structure every set...) Looking back through the obscure news thread it seems we first got wind of 'Storm Of the Sea Devils' in March 2019 (when a forum member found the story listed on spotify I think), presumably the story had been recorded by then...would this be before or after the 4th Doctor lost story with Harry was recorded? I'm just wondering exactly how far ahead Big Finish have banked stories with Tom baker at this point-I think Briggs confirmed they have recorded a couple of seasons past the date where the license currently expires, and we know Lalla Ward has also recorded more which haven't be announced yet... I suppose this also makes 4DA's with Harry and Sarah jane rather likely too...

I suppose it’s possible that she could turn up in the 3DAs. It does mention that she’s been on the periphery of the Doctor’s adventures so perhaps she was already working at UNIT when Pertwee was around.
I can’t really think of anywhere else she could naturally pop up outside of the 4DAs, outside of a Companion Piece style cameo like Margaret had in Ravenous.

An older version of her could appear in the U.N.I.T. series I suppose.

I suppose this also makes 4DA's with Harry and Sarah jane rather likely too... I don't see why we wouldn't be getting 4x25min stories in the future. With three discs that allows one 4-parter and one 2-parter, so it doesn't seem too unlikely we get more 4-parters in future. As for Sarah Jane/Harry Fourth Doctor Adventures, if they are happening then I don't think anyone should get too excited just yet. We won't be getting them until 2025 at the absolute earliest after all Thinking about it, there was a big deal made about Sadie Miller's casting as Sarah and this announcement really focused on Eleanor Crook, but there doesn't seem to have been that much said about Christopher Naylor's part as Harry. I may be biased as I love the character, but there really should have been more fanfare for him too. He barely even gets a passing mention in the news piece for this series, yet he's given the second billing on the website ahead of Eleanor. I wish we'd hear a bit more about his contribution.
