Nice to see the Big Finish Twitter/X page top logo has changed.. I wonder if it's a new "monthly" thing as they look to be all of this months releases ...
I support it- more marketing/adverti$ing..

I'm sure this is one BF series that (for once) many on here haven't heard yet.
Personally I'd say - if you can find the cash, BUY THEM! It took me a while to get round to BF Callan because of backlog size and when I did - wow.
Utterly brilliant in every way, great stories, acting and production with some of the best soundscapes BF have ever done. (If you've heard the Counter-Measures 1-4 series and know how amazing those 1960s soundscapes are - these of the 1970s are that good!)

I was/am tempted to get these. I think BF offered the first episode as a free download from the website. Without wishing to upset people, I couldn't get past the fact that most of the time was taken up by a character played by Nick Briggs. His ever recognisable tones made me decide against purchasing. Is this an ongoing thing? I remain a huge fan of The Avengers Lost Stories boxes, and was hoping Callan might be in the same 'universe' as that.

He's not in 'File on a Deadly Deadshot' that much and I think Hunter is probably his best BF role!
There are a couple of stories which do involve Hunter heavily (and they are cracking good stories too) but in others Hunter is there for the intro & exposition and sometimes a coda. 'Callan' is very much its own universe, they're a very varied set of stories. After I finished it was hard to believe there are only eight episodes because they cover a lot of ground. I wish there were more.

Slightly disappointing cover, I think, with an awkwardly photo-manipulated Tom in the centre. For a moment, looking at the creature by his left elbow I thought Weng Chiang's giant rat was making a return.
