my name is Andrea and I am a big Doctor Who Fan and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bigfinish Audio stories!!!
I am 41 years old and i live with my hubby in Germany. Ellen invited me into your awesome forum and i feel honoured to get a part of it.
i love to discuss my beloved audio dramas and tv episodes.
I watched mostly of the classic range and all the new Who Episodes and also Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures. I adore Elisabeth Sladen so much.
i dont really have a favourite doctor i suppose, cause all of them are the Doctor and play a different side of him/her.
At the moment I am totally in to the adventures of the 7th, Ace and Hex and also started reading the Virgin New Adventures. I am really interested in the Cartmel Masterplan. As i dont have problems with understanding and speaking english I find myself blessed and I am thankful for having such a big range of Audio stories from Bigfinish.
My hobbies are also creating/sculpting/painting custom actionfigures for the Doctor Who 5 inch range, building Dioramas, reading, doing impersinations of my beloved characters. lately read All consuming fire loudly , doing Ace, Bernice and 7th and my best friend Sabrina was laying on the floor, laughing. I love speaking dialects and learning other languages. Its so much fun and a good exercise!
Also I am a classical singer, a writer ( writing my 2nd fantasy novel at the moment, not Dr Who related) and I love playing the Piano.
Sadly I also have several chronic diseases, like epilepsy, narcolepsy with cataplexies( muscletonusloss of parts or the whole body tiggered by fear and any other strong emotions), fibromyalgia and a chronic PTSD. And i am in the autistic spectrum. Just telling, cause i am not really good with sarcasmn and i try also to understand all kind of communication techniques and if i react maybe weird, please just let me know. its not on bad purpose then, just not knowing sometimes how to react maybe propperly on certain society behaviour. but I follow rules, tolerate and respect others and following the group rules wont be a problem for me. I just want to tell before, so you wont be irritated maybe someday. and I want to learn how to communicate better, esp in groups.
talking about my favourite interest is a lovely way to do this.
I am so excited to be here with you and looking forward to writing with you!
if any of you has some questions, I am glad to answer any!!
sending big hugs from Germany!!!
Yours
Andrea

And a very nice welcome to you too. I really hope you find a welcoming place here. And you already know me, so it is fair to say not everybody here is as crazy as I am. So don't be afraid or shy. Plus, I do not go under my real name here, I use my internet name Tuigirl.

Hello my name is Colin. I first really started getting into Doctor Who aged 9 about 1982 although I'd been watching it from the late seventies. I have two cats, two boys (now grown) but only one wife. I've never really been able to decide who my favourite Doctor is, it changes depending on what I'm watching The only Doctor I've ever cosplayed is my namesake. I'm looking forward to posting and reading posts.

Hi everyone! A long-time lurker here from Brisbane, Australia. My child was born in 2020, just as the pandemic began. To stay sane, or at least focus my descent into madness, I decided to go all-in on Big Finish. Just ridiculously, self-awarely, insanely all-in. At a time when films were off-limits, and books required brainspace a dazed new parent simply does not have, audio drama was the perfect platform: one I could privately enjoy in my sleep-deprived state while holding a newborn. Two years and thousands of hours/dollars later, my deep dive has not stopped. I've come to love the Divergent Universe so much during this time. I adore the friendly atmosphere, visit it daily as a news digest, and feel I know and respect so many individual posters here (which makes it all the more silly that I've kept it one-way for so long). Favourite BF releases include the Stranded series, Jonathan Barnes' run on Sherlock Holmes, Jonathan Morris' Fourth Doctor story Chase the Night, vast swarths of the Torchwood monthly range (especially Fall to Earth), and more or less anything John Dorney and Simon Guerrier put to paper. In my spare time I'm an avid writer/filmmaker and part of a sketch comedy duo. I'm currently editing a movie-length webseries; a huge labour of love years in the making. I submitted my first Paul Spragg Memorial story last year — a great feeling just to enter — and look forward to making an annual tradition of it. I also quite enjoy the British television program "Doctor Who". Any fans here?

OK...if anyone asks..you are "Austrian". Just keep it between us! Welcome!
