Yeah, I'm 30 quid poorer now, but I know they're going to be amazing.

I just took a look at the cover and realized it has the words "Series 1" beneath the title. Egads, this suggests the possibility of further sets... Now it's definitely worth supporting through a pre-order!
(Also, I love the cover & font; very era-appropriate!)

Yeah, get buying. Let's make sure that "Series 1" tagline isn't unfortunately over-optimistic!

The Tony and Cassandra stories are what got me hooked on dark shadows. So very excited for more.

Thrilled to see this on the horizon. The story descriptions, imagery and trailer all make it feel deliciously like an early 70s tv series that Big Finish have unearthed.

I've just noticed the main story carries the price at £30 download and £35 for the CD, whereas the page itself lists the prices at £25 for the download and £30 for the CDs. Oh yes!

Ordered! I too love the little sub-section of the DS range that featured Tony & Cassandra, so a box set is a no brainer. Now give us Bloodline! Yeah, I'm greedy.

I don't always preorder, but for this I want to show support so we get more than one series!

Preordered! And that is a gorgeous retro-cool cover, and as Bobod said, an "OMFG" trailer!

I cannot tell you how delighted I am by this news. The Tony and Cassandra tales are among my favorites and served as my real entree into the range. I had listened to some of the earlier stories when they were first released but they left me cold. After Wallace McBride raved about the range in the Collinsport Historical Society I decided to give it a second look -- starting with "The Phantom Bride" and the wild and wonderful adventures that followed. I eventually circled back and went through the entire range but I owe the spark of my renewed enthusiasm to our supernatural detectives. Jerry and Lara just sparkle together and now they're going to be joined by (the real life) Mrs. Lacy as well. I thought their saga was over with "The Devil Cat" and now this. What a great surprise!

Brilliant news! It's wonderful to be surprised with a welcome announcement such as this. It really demonstrates the flexibility of the IP, too, that so many different kinds of stories can be told with Dark Shadows' characters.

(I would be tempted to call them "Investigators of the Infernal", but that title is already taken)
Given Cassandra's background, perhaps they are Investigators from the Infernal?

Oh, I'm really looking forward to this.
I wonder with Angelique's return, if there will be some overlay with Bloodline?

Oh, I'm really looking forward to this. I wonder with Angelique's return, if there will be some overlay with Bloodline? Do you mean that you think these chronologically take place after Bloodlust? Because they take place between The Last Stop and The Phantom Bride, which took place in 1973 (the end of the Phantom Bride has an ad for the episode of Beyond the Grave that is the focus of the final story in the 1973 arc).

This is actually very exciting. I was one of those on the 2015 cruise and at the 2016 convention praising the Tony & Cassandra stories and asking for their return, but also pushing David Darlington and Jim Pierson and even Jerry Lacy himself to try to get Jerry's wife, actress Julia Duffy, to participate in some audios. So yes, I'll take full credit for this new series. It's going to be a hit. YOU'RE WELCOME!
"She’s a witch and he’s a private detective and when they get together it’s murder…"
Written By: Philip Meeks, Zara Symes, Alan Flanagan, Aaron Lamont
Directed By: David Darlington, Darren Gross, Joseph Lidster
Cast: Jerry Lacy (Tony Peterson), Lara Parker (Cassandra Collins), Julia Duffy (Rita Channing), Sydney Aldridge (Mona Lockhart/ Katerina Lienkov/ Alice McGill/ Sadie Mulholland), Anna-Maria Everett (Sister Layla Kincaid/ Peggy Duntroon/ Veronica Phelps/ Karmina Sonata), Brendan O’Rourke (Vincent Danville/ Max Ellison/ Alfonso Grosso), Greg Patmore (Professor Larry Dennis/ Russ Duntroon/ Danny Lloyd).
