Yep, a questionnaire to all who have an email address with Big Finish would seem like the thing to do. It has been a few years since they last sent one out.

Having not yet heard the podcast I am missing the context to... Request from BF
When Emailing questions feel free to state if you have a CD or DL preference and what your favourite non-Who related Range isWill it having a bearing on whether they will read your question out!? Surely if they wanted to know what their customers/fans wanted they only have to look at their sales. I am not in marketing, but would it be too difficult/expensive to put a link on their website and via the newsletter to an official Big Finish poll? Perhaps even ask the question - “Of the following existing non-Who related ranges, which would you definitely purchase a new instalment?”If i recall they had a poll on twitter asking what customers purchase: CD, Download, Both
Downloads won followed closely by CDS

They will be getting rid of CDs soon. Doubt it the number of Tweets they're getting saying "holding off buying till CDs get put back in Sales" Regards mark687

Ba’al is going to make a re appearance? Honestly, considering it’s on record how much Nicholas Briggs adores Death to the Daleks it wouldn’t surprise me if he ended up getting his own boxset or something.

[Only joking folks, but if it was a Death to the Daleks sequel it could be interesting.]

Next 5 years? Probably not. 10 years? Yeah maybe. Of course by that point CDs could be fashionable and retro, so who nose?

Whenever people go on about CD's disappearing I always mention the fact that people are still buying vinyl LP's in 2020! So I don't see the CD format dying out completely. Like vinyl records the future for CD will be the collectors market; special editions, limited packaging and bonus discs etc.. As for Big Finish, they are a business so they'll keep using the CD format while there's money to be made from it.

It still astounds me, reading/hearing "get rid of cd's" why? Is it a younger generational thing? I still have 8 tracks LOL! I just bought 2 vinyls, 1cd and 3 blu rays last week- I have said this before and I will say it again- Australia's monopoly retail store "JB Hifi" have a huge dedicated vinyl section front and centre so prime marketing, of all style and genres of music. They make record profits every financial year from Physical Sales- the one down the road from me alwas has a lineup of people to pay for their physical products..
I would never begrudge someone for being a pure digital only purchaser, I wish I could say the same for the flip side.
The questionnaire on Twitter the other day is inherently flawed. Those that have twitter can participate in the vote. How many people on this forum, for example, don't use any social media of any type? The most accurate way to get the message across is to cross pollinate on the website, FB page and Twitter.
C'mon Marketing people..

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Yeah, fans collect. That’s why they’re fans. I’m an almost exclusively download listener, though, because I came quite late to BF (2012) and catching up was going to take more money than I realistically had (or would ever have). But the ranges that I buy in, I get everything. And yes, for my other fandom needs, I like to have a physical object. In terms of a survey, BF do have all their customers email addresses. It would make sense that that would be a logical step to take rather than polling random listeners on Twitter or Facebook. Even a quick surveymonkey poll would do.

Send an email to everyone who has an active BF account with a survey.. (We never did get the results back from the other one many years ago did we?)
BF/Doctor Who is 1 of M.A.N.Y. lifelong hobbies I have, I haven't bought a physical BF cd in a good 6 months, I am behind in new releases of ranges I listen to, I am behind in the older stuff. Trying to attack from both ends so to speak.

I know I’ve been reading about the death knell of CDs since the early 90s.

So they didn't answer my question about Lovecraft Invasion. The silence on this is so odd.

Considering the recent news with streaming services i think alot of people will wake up to keep their Physical Media releases What news is that? I'm guessing (though can't say for certain) that they're referring to various streaming services pulling episodes of comedy shows off that feature, either minorly or strongly, examples of blackface.

Was thinking more of the re-editing of established movies and shows ( example Tom Hank's Splash having bad CGI edit)

A Small question in the listeners emails segment regarding Pauline Collins as Samantha Briggs, Nick Mentions about potentially recasting her Having just watched the thirty-minute "Battlefield", if they're considering one-off characters like this to bring back I think there'd be a lot of mileage in getting Ling Tai to reprise Shou Yuing in a 7th Doctor series/trilogy/boxset/whateverthehellitsgoingtobeinfuture.
