This Weeks Live Link www.bigfinish.com/podcasts/v/2020-11-29-sixth-seventh-bennyFrom the E-mails Its just a good idea to have your own physical storage back up for BF DLs (interesting they reckon the total Digital BF Back Catalog still equates to just under 1 Terabyte in storage) There's a likelihood of more Class Same 9DA Update as last Night's BF Management YouTube It was BBC's idea to make the 11th Doc Chronicles Full-Cast When Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi say that they are ready for BF BF will be ready for them. When Live this Weeks RAN Offer (25% Off CD/DL) will be Classic Docs New Monsters Vol 1 Regards mark687

Never occurred to me until now but I reckon Eccleston and Tennant eventually meeting The Brigadier is now a dead cert.

Considering the fact that I believe Sheridan Smith has just had a new baby I think it’ll be a while before we see any more Eighth Doctor Further Adventures.

I think Tennant is a possibility, Eccleston less so. Eccleston didn't watch the series as a child and I doubt he signed up to BF so he could meet an endless array of classic series elements he never got the chance to meet on TV -- I find it very hard to imagine him in a set like the Classic Companions one, for example.

There's always the chance then as a non fan he doesn't give a toss either way whether villains are new or returning? After all his opener featured the Autons which hadn't been seen since the 70s. I should hope he'd be more interested in good scripts than whether there's any returning elements. I hope we get a good mix of fresh and returning Who elements that are still looked at in a fresh way.

Maybe it’ll contain classic elements, maybe it won’t but I definitely think Big Finish have a clear vision of what they want to do with the Ninth Doctor in his series. The fact they immediately announced four volumes instead of just the one does make me wonder whether Eccleston himself has any creative input in it (outside from reprising his role of course) I’d imagine they might have discussed a few ideas at least once.

Good Lord, I can see "that one guy" now commenting on BF's announcement Facebook post as I type this. He goes off on a tantrum everytime there's mention of a recast in a story. I think there’s at least two - borderline three. In terms of ‘Classic Series’ elements, I think fans can lose track of the fact that actors tend not to know about them. If you aren’t aware of the history of the show, is there any real difference between a brand new monster and, say, the Macra? Will it particularly matter to them if they encounter someone new or someone old?

Also in the podcast, though it was implied in the past, Briggs explicitly said that there's going to be another series of Adam Adamant Lives!(!)

True, but for actors who are also fans, like Tennant (and hopefully Capaldi at some point), it might mean an extra day of recording. (I can only hope!)
