I’d honestly put money on Brigadier Bambera marking a comeback in a future volume of UNIT Nemesis. Bambera and Ancelyn are a oddly-underutilised set of characters
Yeah, played by Otto, one of our most popular comedians. I have heard about it.
It is a very..... unique type of acquired taste humor with him.
I know I loved him as a kid, but I really need to be in the right mood for him.

Has Catweazle got a very big following in Germany at all? Just seems a bit of a strange project to undertake if so.

Has Catweazle got a very big following in Germany at all? Just seems a bit of a strange project to undertake if so. I remember that it was on when I was in kindergarten. I distinctly remember watching it with my parents when I was little. But honestly, I cannot remember anything about the series and I have not watched it ever since. Does it have a big following here? I am not aware of that.
However, Germany is known for having the weirdest followings and fandoms floating around.
For example, for reasons beyond my understanding, Germans LOVE David Hasselhoff as a singer. He just released a new album with the English versions of German songs. And "The Three Investigators" is a HUGE German phenomenon with millions of fans creating the biggest live audio drama shows (with 20000 people strong audiences in a stadium).
So no, I cannot rule out there is another niche following around Catweazle. Would definitely not be any stranger than above examples.
Probably some old farts like me who remember it from their childhood.

Catweazle was very popular here in Australia during the late 70's/early 80's. Back then we only had 4 tv channels.. Channels 2(the ABC channel which still is the aussie version of the BBC), 7, 9 and 10. Doctor Who around 78-84 was 1 of the most popular shows here, pretty much all the classic UK sitcoms/comedy shows were shown on channel 2 here.. Bless This House, Are You Being Served?, George and Mildred, Robins Nest, THE GOODIES!, Some Mother's Do Have Em (Michael Crawford was ridiculously popular with the women here) .. Catweazle and Worzel Gummidge were popular amongst my age group back then. Oh.. Monkey Magic and Danger Mouse too

So why did you Aussie not do a movie? Why is this totally random German movie in the cinemas now? Many questions. No answers. And I also remember that time when there were only 6 TV channels over here. And one of them was the communist German one in black and white. Black and white because of the jamming stations at the iron curtain, which did not let colour signals through. The evening kids show of the Communists was the best ever. We kids watched it every night before bed and it is still running and still broadcast as a national institution.

The Three Investigators? Alfred Hitchcock’s Three Investigators? I know that there is a big Famous Five audio dramas following as when I search on Apple Music for audio dramas the German language Famous Five always comes up.

The one and only "T3I" and yes, no English version unfortunately.. I used to borrow the Famous Five audio's on cassette back in the 80's from the local library too..

This sounds great, pity there isn't an English language version! inside-numbers.com/germanys-most-popular-audio-drama-in-numbersThe IP is owned by Sony. They sell about 100000 copies of every audio release, and there is a new episode every 2 months. It is a HUGE chash cow. The live audio dramas fill whole stadia and they already beat their own record with 20000 people at one single venue at a single show.
So yeah, Sony is protecting and guarding the IP like a jelous, very paranoid hawk. This is one of the reasons there are no other language versions.
By the way, I am THE biggest fan. I have been following the audios since I was a kid, and the audios have been around since 1979.
Using THE SAME actors in the role. We are now at about 250 audio episodes.
Three Investigators for life!
Here is my signed poster with autographs of the three lead actors:
And this is my sister and me with the actor for Jupiter Jones, Oliver "Olli" Rohrbeck (who is an incredibly nice guy)
So now that the truth is out, any further questions?

There’s probably some BBC mandate that they can’t do any more Unbound stories.
A companion spin-off range? So, a bit like what BBC Audio are already doing with the Beyond the Doctor series then?

Nick said there was a rumbling thought in his mind but yeah i guess no firm plans for Unbound right now
Nick Said that there is one Spin off in the works in very early stages so interesting to see what it will develop into
Yeah i can imagine that it would be quite chaotic to get a schedule for both of them. wonder if that means the 10th Doctor Chronicles will become full cast to substitutes Davids absence?
Ah Darn

I Thought that they cant create new Doctors for the Unbound Range Which if they cant create new doctors than how did they get away with {Spoiler} The Alternative 6th Doctor in The Fifth Doctor Adventures Wicked Sisters Finale Episode
I Mean they can still use David Warner and Michael Jayston so thats something

I honestly have no idea. As you said, there a few exceptions to the rule and David Warner is now a mainstay of the Bernice Summerfield range as the alternate universe Doctor.

It becomes a question of just how much 10th Doctor they were able to record during lockdown. For all we know they have several box sets in the can that have not been hinted at, let alone announced.

I think it's unlikely there is anything else yet to be announced with Tennant in - they announced the Classic Companions set in December, and then the next announcement of a Tennant release was the War Master last month, which was likely held back because announcing a future volume with Tennant in it would have overshadowed any as-yet unreleased volumes.
There's no sense in making the Chronicles full-cast though. DT is happy to record whenever he's available, and there's a fair bit in the tank they've done during lockdown.

There are plans for some sort of companion spin-off range in the works (would also feature the BF Re-Cast Companions) UNIT: The Classic Series?
