The best bit was another sneak-preview of "Dracula" it sounded great. The pod-cast itself seemed a bit contrived to me.

Yeah, as long as it's interesting listener mail. I hate getting to the Mail page in Vortex and it's nothing but "_________ was a great story and I thought _________ gave a good performance" or one of those issues where all the answers seem to be "No plans at the moment" A letters page is only as good as the letters it receives!

I enjoyed Nick at the start. He is a likeable, funny guy - I like the self-deprecating technophobe thing he's doing here. Maybe I'm being kind cos it's Friday.

The trailers for releases I already own...I just skip .

Last Of The Titans randomly got a podcast release before Christmas so who knows what will happen? Not Making Myths Paul had to take it down cause someone refused to sign the DL rights.

Yes, and I said "who knows what will happen" for a reason - as Tom Baker proved, saying no once doesn't mean the door is closed forever. Because something is unlikely doesn't make it impossible! Though...I wouldn't hold my breath (I got my copy on ebay years ago!), Benny's digitalisation doesn't seem to be a priority.

Scott Handcock was more interesting in one podcast than Nick Briggs was in four! I loved the story about Eve Myles, that's the kind of thing we should get more of in the podcasts instead of reading off of the "What's New" page and playing trailers and plugging the bloody prisoner.

The review of 2015 podcast series was easily at its best when Nick was chatting with the other people. I think going back over the year was a good idea, and given a teeny bit of pre-planning to set up his interviewees (and reliable internet) I think this was a solid format by the time he got to part four even if the execution didn't always go right. I wonder if the BF people are just struggling a bit to come up with a suitable podcast format that's not too much work, doesn't overlap too much with the extras and manages to aggressively sell BF product while oozing that friendly small-company-that-loves-its-fans feel.

The latest podcast was very disappointing. It felt like an ego boost for Nick Briggs and little else.
