That was a lovely little story. Once again this range delivers a short but full tale and one that is perfectly paced. I love this range Cheers Tony

That opening was evil. Nicely played, Jonathan Barnes.

That was an interesting little tale. These monthly short trips really have replaced the classic Companion Chronicles in my mind, especially as we move into territory like this. Good stuff. I just listened to this yesterday. It was quite a nice tale. It definitely felt like one of those original Companion Chronicles with a framing device which explains form where the memory of the story was inspired and its relevance to "the present."

Just listened to it tonight.
Very poetic, I though the writing was odd at first but by the end it made sense. It fit the whole piece. Anyone else think the being is a weeping Angels before they become stone? The Angel was able to transport them and they're old enough to be gallifreyan myth.

A really pleasant listen. Anneke is so charming and the words come alive so beautifully and lyrically. I really would like another Short Trip from this TARDIS team, read by Elliot, and then an Early Adventures from the pair.

The chances are now that this will happen next year, always assuming that (sadly) we won't be getting more with Ian / Barbara / Susan. If that is so, I'd guess for two with Vicki / Steven and two with Polly / Ben. Two excellent teams, so I'd like that a lot.

In this podcast (https://www.bigfinish.com/podcasts/v/the-big-finish-podcast---vicki-and-steven-october-03), I'm pretty certain that Maureen O'Brien and Peter Purves talked about recording four Early Adventures stories (although I could be wrong as to the exact number; if anyone else has the time to check, they discussed it in the Guest Star Interview section). I'm assuming that these will make up the entire Early Adventures: Series 5 run.

But it is said that BF sometimes 'bank' stories by recording them far ahead of release like (apparently) the 4DAs. Perhaps this was two series'-worth of their stories in one recording block for scheduling convenience etc.? Either way, it's good to know that BF are still committed to the 'Early Adventures' even with the recast First Doctor Adventures coming soon as extra First Doctor stories to look forward to. More First Doctor stories are always very welcome for me as EAs, CCs or STs, I enjoy the unique style of that era and the contrast with all the later Doctors.

I just loved this story. I think it’s my favourite short trip to date. And it’s a brilliant prequel to “Twice Upon a Time”. I wonder if that was planned or serendipity...

Such a beautiful wee story. I love Polly and Ben is just lovely.
I would love to see Polly have a scene with a newer Doctor(8+), but as long as Anneke keeps giving us more tales I'm happy!
And her with Peter was great!

This was a lovely story. Anneke did such a nice job doing Ben's lines and I love where the story goes.
The end seems open to interpretation as to where Ben and Polly are moving to next.
I did wonder what the being was, didn't think it was at all clear. The only hint was that the Doctor thought it was a myth from a children's story, so I assume a story he heard as a child on Gallifrey.
