For the price, sounds like it might be fun.

I don't like to be negative based on previews or trailers but based on what I heard in the podcast, no thank you.

Yeah, this one easily slides into the small list of Big Finish releases that I will never, ever buy. Even putting aside the fact that the subject matter holds little interest to me, what I have heard just solidified my lack of interest, rather than sparking any sense of curiosity whatsoever.
But that's okay, it's nice to give my wallet a rest once in a while. Besides, I'd never be so arrogant as to assume that just because something wasn't to my particular taste that it shouldn't be made. Whoever the market is for this release, I genuinely hope they enjoy it.

I had no intention of getting it - it just doesn't appeal to me.
I wasn't aware that a preview was available - but I've pretty much given up on the podcast. They seem more interested in their tangents than they are in answering emails or having interviews where you learn more than when they met Nick.

Whoever the market is for this release, I genuinely hope they enjoy it. That is the question that springs to my mind. Who is this for exactly? I mean I love Sinatra and think he was a fascinating human being as well as the greatest singer who has ever lived but still......And there was a lot more to Marilyn Monroe than most people realize but still....Anyway, I hope this does well for them. I'm glad to see JHE directing again. I fully support BF branching out and trying different stuff but this just doesn't look like "it" for me.

I was a bit non-plussed by this release when it was announced. I don't know what market BF are aiming for with this but good luck to those that do buy it and enjoy it. It's not for me though.
It's great when I can save money and not want to buy a BF release.

It was...interesting? I'm not quite sure how to react after listening to this one. I didn't dislike it, but I didn't love it either. I guess I kind of feel like this could have been a lot more than it was, like this was an opportunity to tell a grand tragic story, but we decided to read the Sparknotes page instead.
But still, for $4, it's not a terrible way to spend 45 minutes.

I listened to this in bed last night and it was an alright listen, not a favourite but it was ok...
My only real criticism of it is that it was a little short... I think I might have preferred it as a full 'proper' play (i.e 60-75minute) to give it some time to build up the characters and to add some drama, as at (barely) half-an-hour it seemed a little... Short, as by the time that I was really getting into it, it had finished... (Though I guess that's why there was the Q&A at the end, half the length of the play, to pad it out a little...).

Indeed so I think the full 45minutes might have been ok for this, but at half-an-hour (plus Q&A) it just seemed a little short...
