I haven't the foggiest idea why but I've been listening to some stuff from Radio Ulster (Northern Ireland) on the fab radio iplayer.
The Graveyard Shift looks at the grizzly business of body snatching to feed the demand of medical schools in the 1800s. A navvy got about £30 a year for digging the roads, but sell a cadaver for £700 each and the lure is obvious. Some graveyards were plundered so regularly that approx. 66% of bodies were missing.
I've never listened to 'Medicinal Purposes' but may give it a whirl after this.

Medicinal Purposes is great fun - I'd be interested to hear your views on the Doctor's stance over the various nefarious activities.
