I'd buy that in a heartbeat. Guys please stop getting my hopes up like that. Please note it was because of Life on Mars & John Simm that I finally watched Doctor Who that all my Online friends were talking about on Live Journal (now ironically I am a bigger fan than any of them). But I really don't see it being that!

There was a repeat of Enemy of the Bane from SJA on 16th Nune, plus a scene filmed for Series 4 on 16th June. Surely this is it?

I'm still a little surprised that there hasn't been some sort of K-9 special release announced for the tin dog's upcoming 40th. Particularly given how much BF has worked with John Leeson in recent years.

For what it's worth, all releases (for all licence holders) are coordinated by the BBC. It's not indicative of anything, as it happens all the time, regardless of whether a series is or isn't transmitting. This kind of coordination happens on Torchwood releases, for example. What is it the Eighth Doctor says about looking for patterns?

Ah, but it's a Big Finish press release which (like BBC Books, Titan, etc) requires coordination with the BBC. These are issued by everyone all the time (Captain Jack, Torchwood, River Song, Churchill, etc).

So to clarify then, it's a huge and top secret and very exciting announcement by Big Finish whiich requiires no more and no less coordination with the BBC than any other BF press release about any story licensed from the BBC? Which means that >50% of this thread has been fun, but pointless speculation about TV tie-ins... Or maybe not! All good fun, and Friday is only three days away on a linear timeline...

I wonder why this is being teased then and waiting on BBC co-operation/ co-ordination .
Torchwood Series 5 and The Doctor Chronicles snuck in with almost no fan-fair.
