As a new Gallifrey listener, having only heard 2 series, I’m going to have to resist this until I’m more up to date...

Damn they do great trailers..! I love what they did for UNIT Encounters. It feels like proper title sequences. Can't wait to see what they do for Benny turning 20. For her that was more years ago than she'd care to admit, if she remembers it at all. There's a distinct possibility she doesn't. Very likely if booze was involved. Okay, so she's not always drunk.

Damn they do great trailers..! It's such a cool trailer; looks like Gallifrey: Time War will be up to the usual high standards of the Time War releases.

The Reviews on this when they come in will make very interesting reading
Very good performances practically for the middle 2 stories but overall I was left frustrated by this set and not in a good way, however I've no doubt die hard Gallifrey fans will love it.

That is what they said about Intervention Earth but that was not correct.

Regards mark687 Think I will give this a miss. I'd say it's worth buying, if only for the middle two stories. Particularly and especially the third story if you've also listened to the War Doctor box sets and the War Master box set. The first and last stories weren't all that bad either. This was really my first time listening to Gallifrey. I did try to jump on with Intervention Earth, but I never really could get into it. This box set was much easier to get into. It's no War Doctor or War Master set, but it's not trying to be (with the exception of the third story, obviously) and I think it can be enjoyed on its own merits.

Thank you for the response but at £20, & as you say on 2 stories, & with my past experiences of Gallifrey range I will avoid this release from Big Finish.

I think the last story should've more proactive in dealing with the consequences of the pervious 2 rather than all but ignoring them. 2 popular former Companions are in serious trouble possibly but lets ignore that entirely in favour of a political election which Romana hasn't got a hope in winning and is pointless anyway because what she hopes to prevent if she did win is already happening just so a continuity box can be ticked.

Urgh, that sounds like everything I find most boring about Gallifrey stories. Never really liked episodes set on Gallifrey during the classic era.

Boy you lot love to complain.
I loved it. If I have one complaint, it's that the Gallifrey core characters didn't get enough time together, but the stories they got into instead were so interesting that it made it easy to forget about that.
Bring on Volume 2! (and 3 and 5 and 234 and 985 and)

That blew the doors off - Bravo!! There absolutely has to be Gallifrey much more often than there has been.
