I guess it won't be long until the 'Stormageddon, Dark Lord of All' boxset. If it means we can have more Craig? I'd buy it.

I'm not too fond of Corden outside of Who, but I really liked him as Craig.

Forgot about Dalton as Rassilon - that would be one heck of a coup - I'd gladly listen to him manipulate Gallifrey for three or four hours (especially alongside a Lalla Ward or a Jacqueline Pearce or a Ken Bones) I'd take Dalton in just about anything they could give us.

I would be shocked if Big Finish don't do a Mr and Mrs Smith (Mickey and Martha) spinoff now that they are doing something as weirdly tenuous as Tales of New Earth. I think Mr and Mrs Smith would be a great one for BF to do and possibly give us a strong narrative reason for how and why Martha and Mickey decide to become an item. I really think this would be a lovely idea. Having them be independent monster hunters and possibly even clean up crew on big alien messes would be very involving. Also is Martha still considered UNIT at this time and how does that affect her viewpoint? I would love to see Martha, Mickey and maybe them even have a teamup with Sato and Matheson! I think on a smaller scale a "U.N.I.T. Files" Anthology set would be great. Have a Martha episode(maybe the one where she meets Mickey) called Smith and Jones. Then have a Sato and Matheson episode. Then maybe have a narrated piece with Katy Manning. Perhaps a Post Doctor tale with her, Liz Shaw and Sarah Jane? I am for a UNIT anthology set though.

I wonder (wishful thinking) if Big Finish could tempt him back to play Rassilon on audio if they also got him in to play a 80s James Bond in adaptions of the John Gardner books, I guess it would depend if Dalton felt that Bond was unfinished business for him!?

I don't think they have the James Bond audio rights, though. I think Nick said it on Vortex at some point.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

How about a Shakespeare and Dickens boxset, a la Jago and Lightfoot? no You're right: it needs something else... ... Here we go: The Alphabet Club, starring Agatha Christie, Bill Shakespeare and Charles Dickens. And Vincent Van Gogh and Queen Victoria can guest star.

I have to say that it seems very much a case of trying to rustle something up from the left overs at the back of the cupboard, in the absence of the more appetising treats one would expect from this license extension. In the absence of Chris Eccleston, Matt Smith and an on-board but busy David Tennant only being able to commit occasionally, my money is always going to be spent filling in gaps within other ranges, however good the finished product may be. That's to say no disrespect to the writers and actors etc. Its just too peripheral to appeal to myself.
A spin off exploring Martha and Mickey around the time of Tennant's farewell where they appeared to be in a partnership, would be closer to the Companion Chronicles and more bona fide New Who in my eyes though and of genuine interest...

Believe Martin Jarvis's company has audio rights for James Bond jamesbond.wikia.com/wiki/Martin_Jarvis Wish they were available on Audible.

The Jarvis Bonds are terrific. Ian McKellen as Goldfinger; David Suchet as Dr No; Peter Capaldi as Q; Alfred Molina as Blofeld; Joanna Lumley as Irma Bunt;......they're star studded bona fide Fleming adaptations. Wonderful stuff.
BF would struggle to do better, honestly. Especially if they had to use some of Benson and Gardner's work.....
