Even though I'm not a huge Eleventh Doctor fan, I do have a rather unique idea that could work as an audio drama or in prose form. "Silver Supremacy" - The Doctor, Amy and Rory visit Alabama in the 1930s where some Mondasian Cybermen (same design and functions as the ones from World Enough and Time/The Doctor Falls) infiltrate a KKK rally and have each member upgraded. Seeing the inhumanity of mankind in jeopardy, the Doctor is stuck in the grey area; he can't determine whether saving the KKK from one of his worst foes would be right or wrong. At the same time, Rory becomes enraged to see the KKK in his presence, so he decides to pick up a fight with them all (a reference to Let's Kill Hitler). For anyone who hasn't noticed in the TV episodes, the 1966 Cybermen do sort of resemble the KKK, from their eyes to being covered all over in silver. Takes place between Asylum of the Daleks and Dinosaurs on a Spaceship (will have more continuity than all Series 7 episodes). I did write a short prologue (prose form), but later decided that it would be better to write a full synopsis to flesh out the entire story and its main ideas. A big problem in your story is that the Eleventh Doctor would undoubtedly punish the KKK members by letting them lose their humanity as he killed Solomon for murdering the Silurian space colony or tried to send Kahler-Jex to an inevitable death by his creation and deceive the Silence to be executed by his own weapon during the moon landing, he is really the "no second chances man". I think it would be Rory, being a nurse, who would be horrified by the inhumanity of the Cybermen and show compassion for them, Amy on the other hand would not care for the racists but would begin to worry about the increasingly irrational behavior of the Doctor (as saw in A Town Called Mercy)

Another thought I came up with involves the KKK conspiring with the Cybermen, believing that they can swiftly round up as many people for upgrades and act as bodyguards to prevent law enforcement from intrusion - not until they realise they've been used as puppets because the Cybermen's agenda is to upgrade all humans. The Doctor's choices could result in the aggressive actions caused during Dinosaurs and Mercy, even though both episodes take place after my story; or perhaps I could switch it to being an immediate predecessor to The Angels Take Manhattan in which he thinks more rationally instead of going to the extreme (still coincidentally set in 1930s America though). These are just early ideas, and I really appreciate the feedback. As for that, Rory's relationship with the KKK will sort of be akin to how he dealt with Hitler and that Nazi on the motorbike.
