More Tom is great but do we need more Nest Cottage when we have full cast 4th Doctor adventures from Big Finish?

I really enjoyed those. Many seemed not to. Shame.
I was only a little bothered by the slow way he got back into the role, but whatever. If ANYONE makes more with Tom Baker acting, I'm buying it.

I'm with Jason on this, I'm a huge Fourth Doctor fan but let's face it those Nest, Serpent, Demon Quest stories compared to the gems Big Finish have churned out there's no comparison in quality, Big Finish everytime the writing & performances are far stronger.

Nest Cottage - as many have said - starts slow, but by the end I was really enjoying it. It would be nice to have an ending for Wibbsey, Mike and the Doctor.

I'm pretty sure I listened to Nest Cottage before I had any Big Finish/Tom to compare it to. At the time I thought it was OK. Some bits and bobs were better than others, to be sure though.

If this is in any way building off the horrible Nest Cottage series I'll be passing.

According to Paul Magrs it is a tale told from the point of view of Mrs. Wibbsey and performed by Susan Jameson.

So not even Tom Baker? I am less interested in this now than I was earlier. So it's effectively a non BF CC then? Only if you consider Mrs Wibbsey a companion...

So it's effectively a non BF CC then? Only if you consider Mrs Wibbsey a companion... We had to put up with Shayde or Kamelion and several others so Wibbs is fine

No offence to Fraser Hines but if BF ever got David Troughton in to do the 2nd Doctor like the Nest series did I wouldn't be complaining.

Alternatively, if I'm correct, this is released the same day as the last day of the Google Audio Books 50% voucher. So, fingers crossed, we might be able to get it on download for £2.50.... Then again, Kobo offers a first Audiobook for free if you sign up for a trial subscription to their audiobook service, so that's worth considering as well, although it doesn't seem to be possible to sign up to this with a pre-order.
