A nice little story from Lucie's point of view, if a bit rushed at the end but still an enjoyable half hour 😀 Hope this isn't the last of lucie miller though

Well, the short trip coming put so early is a nice surprise and no mistake. They're usually held back till last.

On the Big Finish instagram they have a picture that says Sheridan Smith's back in studio as Lucie Miller. Though I think the picture is from when she recorded this and probably just bad wording. But they do make it sound like she is there now recording something. http://instagram.com/p/BWfDtAdBjNX

Do we have a placement for this one? I'm in the midst of an Eight-era relisten anyway, so I think I'll just hold off on this until I'm in the Eight/Lucie period, and do it at its right spot.

It's always lovely to hear from Sheridan and I appreciate that more and more of these Short Trips are being told in first person (instead of Sheridan saying Lucie said this as some older releases were structured) but I just wasn't very engaged in this story.

I have to say this release was just okay. It was by far the weakest release for the range this year.

I got terribly distracted during my listen to the story, through no fault of the production whatsoever. It still managed to register as a very good story anyway, and it is of course such always a delight to hear Sheridan Smith that I wouldn't mind at all giving it another listen shortly to see if I really missed anything.

This would fit into series 3, which built up the idea of her putting him of a pedestal.

I actually loved everything about this story. Well, I'm such a Lucie fan that I could listen to Sheridan tell us about that time she took the bus and I'd be happy. But Lucie having a real adventure without The Doctor was wonderful. I could listen to this again in a heartbeat. Actually, I think that's what I'll do first thing tomorrow!

It was great hearing Lucie again and basically on her own surviving.

I really enjoyed it, wonderful brisk adventure that captures and expands upon The Eighth Doctor Adventure beautifully. Lucie had to kill someone :shudders:

Or a strange Time War shennigans cameo in first Time War box set?
