Does anyone else find it interesting that the banner says "Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Collected" as opposed to say "Doctor Who - The Tenth Doctor" like BF has with John Hurt in "Doctor Who - The War Doctor"? The "collected" bit implies multiple ranges to me.

The "collected" bit implies multiple ranges to me. Not really because BF already have 10th Doctor releases in the lineup that would go into a "Collected" section - Destiny Of The Doctor: Death's Deal and The Churchill Diaries. So that's at least 3 things to go in there already. Maybe more if it's multiple boxsets in "The Tenth Doctor Adventures". So there's already 3 different Tenth Doctor ranges to collect. Hurt only has one. Hey, who knows what's coming though!

Ah yes, I forgot about those other releases. Funny because Death's Deal is what got me hyped about Ten's return in the first place.
EDIT: Thanks uirdhein, I didn't spot that. I was just looking at the stubs.

I guess the main thing of interest to me is the format. I'm kind of over, or at least a little tired of the box set method of storytelling and would prefer a monthly series. Or it might be a nice surprise, and a tip of the hat to old time subscribers,to have 10 take his place in the Main Range for a one shot deal instead of the anthology title. And David, I agree with you. 10 was at his best with Donna Noble. David and Catherine are gonna be massivly expensive to hire so I'd imagine Jason will have been number crunching to work out exactly the best way to monetise the 10th Doctor - which will surely be one of (maybe the biggest) selling things BF ever do. Tennant isn't just popular - he's a merchandise juggernaut (regardless of my opinion) so this could be very lucrative for BF. It's really just a question of whether it does very well or amazingly well So if BF feel that the £20 boxset model is the way to get more orders in - and that's certainly what they seem to be doing for all Nu-Who releases - that's what we'll get. Personally, I'd love to see a boxset but also a standalone 2 discer - like Jago, Litefoot & Strax - to give us a taster. Then - and I'm being selfish here - I'd like a break from any more announcements, range launches or licence extensions for a while*. I've spent a LOT more in the past year keeping up that I have in any previous. Taking money out the equation...there's only so much time to listen to! * Except Dark Shadows. We NEED the sequel to Bloodlust - and more Burke Devlin - announced ASAP!

I was just looking at the stubs. I dont blame you. Destiny was really good but doesnt get talked about much. And hey - you could be enitrely right and we'll get 4 boxsets, a miniseris and some companion chronicles style releases confirmed tomorrow!

Ok, I'm excited. I knew as soon as we heard that BF had the rights to NuWho that they must already be talking to David Tennant, and I'm still excited. I knew that Blogter was on the money when he broke the story, and still I was excited. David Tennant is THE reason that I started watching Doctor Who and 10 will always be my favorite, no matter how much I now love all the rest. So yes, I am VERY excited. This will probably be the only range of which I will consistently buy on CD. Yay! (ok, no confirmation or anything, but I'm still excited. )

Also now thinking...would be cool to get Barrowman and Tennant having a series together set during the Specials Year. I'd imagine - once the dust settles - that specials year will be exploited massively by BF.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is that Jacqueline King works with BF quite a lot already - especially over the last couple of years - so Sylia Noble seems a safe bet at some point too. Jacqueline King said at Dimensions that she'd love to play Sylvia for Big Finish so I think you're right. With any luck we might get Bernard Cribbins too.

Someone needs to remind Bernard how much he enjjoyed the lunch when he did The Horror Of Glam Rock! Yes, Jacqueline has done Dorian, The Avengers, Charley, loads of Who, Wizard Of Oz so I think it's safe to say she's one of "the family".

I don't mind that this was spoiled, really. Let's be honest, Tennant was the one we knew we were getting. The real shock was that he wasn't the first New Who Doctor - had John Hurt been spoiled, I might have been irritated.

Has David Tennant even been confirmed yet? If he hasn't, and the announcement turns out to be something else there'll be lots of egg on lots of faces...

Oh man, Bernard Cribbins back as Wilf would just be awesome. My wish for tomorrow, if indeed it is 10/Donna, is that we get complete listings of the writers. That is what really gets me excited with announcements. And I wonder if this is the secret Who project Rob Shearman has mentioned a few times.

There are already a few companions in that gap in the comics - Titan, DWA, DWM and IDW all did their own things. The Tenth Doctor: The Company of Friends, anyone?

The summer/fall has been pretty tight as far as funds are concerned and I have not booked any film work since May. Things at work are getting better but not so great that I can go hog wild with pre-orders. Might be some hard choices coming up and I could certainly use a break from all the announcements. Just to catch my breath.

Written by John Dorney, Rob Shearman, Nev Fountain, and (wishful thinking) Russell T Davies.

I hope Big Finish has made getting Bernard Cribbins a very high priority. Wilfred Mott is an entirely charming member of Ten's supporting players.

Hey guys,
Can we not discuss any potential leaks or rumours here? Some of us stay clear of that and like to be suprised.
